The 21st Century Golden Calf and the New Age Movement

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Could it be that the New Age movement, the Emergent Church (EC) and C.Peter Wagner's "New Apostolic Reformation" (NRA) and many of these so called "new moves of the Spirit" be the end time deluding influence spoken of in 2 Thessalonian's? If not THE delusion, then certainly A delusion. (Isa 66:4)



2 Thes 2: 9-12

"The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

Basically what we have today with these so called "new moves of the Spirit" is the 21st century version of worshipping the golden calf. This concept was brought to my attention by my friend John Johnston (United States Prophecy).

The Israelites would NOT WAIT on God so they made their own god out of the gold they collected and proceeded to worship it in a fleshy frenzy. (Exodus 32). And since there is nothing new under the sun, today we have a people who will not wait on God and they will not abide by His Word. There are many who are seeking after signs and wonders and are really what I would call "addicted" to manifestations. They seem to prefer prophetic word (rhema) over scripture. The way I see it, these people have made their own god in their own image. Many of them are worshipping their god in crazy and fleshy ways. This manufactured hype and emotionalism is how they are manifesting their own signs and wonders. Little do they realize they are tapping into a satanic source. And because they do not have a love of the truth, God is allowing it to happen and has turned them over to the delusions of their mind.

Below are some examples of these strange manifestations that the golden calf worshipers are performing. I use the word "performing" because it really is a performance and I see nothing that is genuinely from the true Holy God that I serve.

It is disturbing that many of these people are young teens who are being led into this nonsense. The elders will pay a big price for promoting and allowing it. As a matter of fact, I find it very interesting that Moses had the golden calf ground into powder and made the Israelites drink it. (Exodus 32:20). It reminds me of all the so called "gold dust" that people claim is manifesting. Wow, what a coincidence, the golden calf is made of gold! You better believe that God is going to make them drink it if they do not repent.

We are warned repeatedly in the New Testament about deception:

Jesus warns- Mat 24: 4, 5, 10, 11, 24
Paul warns- Acts 20: 29-30, 2 Cor 11, 1 Tim 4:1-2, 2 Tim 4:1-5
Peter warns- 2 Peter 1:12, 2 Peter 2:3, 2 Timothy 3:1-2, 2 Peter 3:15-18
John warns- 2 John 1:9-10
Jude warns- Jude 1:1-4, Jude 17-19


Greg Koukl of Stand to Reason (http://www.str.org/) writes this about 2 Timothy:

"In Paul’s final warning to the church, he does not counsel them to face the challenges of the future by embracing new movements of the Spirit. Instead, he tells them to look backwards, to continue in and guard what has already been revealed. This is Paul’s message throughout his entire letter. Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me (1:13). Guard...the treasure which has been entrusted to you (1:14). And the things which you have heard from me...these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also (2:2). Paul warns of a time of moral chaos falling on the world and theological chaos falling on the church. The antidote for both is the same: Steady at the helm. Guard what has already been entrusted to you. Continue in the things which you have already learned. Everything we need to be fruitful and productive, to be trained in righteousness, to be adequately equipped for every good work, has already been revealed."



Jeremiah also warned us!
Jer 6:16 Thus says the LORD: "Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.' 17 Also, I set watchmen over you, saying, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But they said, 'We will not listen.'

IHOP". I think what Jan has said here is an excellent assessment of how Satan is using the New Age movement and these so called "New Apostles" to bring about a huge end time delusion. Let me say that I know there are true Apostles in the world today and we will know them by their fruit. I also know there is a true movement of the Holy Spirit that is coming in coming. (Hos 6:3)

What many do not know is that Bickle, Joyner and Warren are literally putting the occultic agenda, “NEW BEGINNINGS” into the Church disguised as the “Gospel”. “New Gospel”, “New Jesus”, “New Rain of the Spirit”, “New Fresh Word”, “New Level”, “New Jesus”, “New Word of the Lord”; are just some of the suspect terms in the Church today that come straight from the New Age Movement . Bickle’s “Birthing the Global church” is the same as the occultic "birthing the One World Church.” Bickle’s Feast of Tabernacles is also the same as the occultic Planetary Pentecost! Bickle’s “Corporate Christ” is the same as the occultic “Cosmic Christ!” Now he is promoting contemplative prayer, the same that mystics use. Romans tells us to contend for doctrine but now Bereans are called Heresy Hunters!

The Bible tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is self control but Bickle tells us it’s screaming, fainting, shaking, jerking and changes in skin color!? The Bible tells us to be sober but Bickle promotes drunkenness from the “New Wine” that churches around the world are partaking of. This literally is the world consuming the One World Philosophy that Jesus warned would come. God help those who have fallen for these doctrines of demons that Timothy and Paul warned us about! Many, now in IHOP wear Masonic rings, declare an unhealthy ‘lovesickness’ for Jesus, and focus more on experience than they do the written Word of God. “God” must prove Himself’ every Sunday with outrageous ‘miracles’.

If you research occultic medium Alice Bailey, the three things she channeled from Satan that had to happen for the antichrist and his kingdom to come are: “Inclusiveness”. We now see the Church becoming UNIVERSAL. Doctrinal differences are being erased so everyone can join in. The second thing she said that has to happen, is the “Eradication of written Truth”: Biblical doctrine. This is happening two-fold. The fundamental church (enter Rick Warren) is promoting non Biblical, watered down ‘translations’ of Scripture. The charismatic church is slowly eradicating the Logos so as to completely look to spirit realm revelations only. So the Church is becoming OCCULTIC. 


The third thing Alice Bailey predicted was the coming mystical change of men: “TRANSFORMATION”. To the pseudo Christian this word means “worshipping in altered states of consciousness”, “entering heaven to receive messages from the spirit world’, and receiving power to control nature or to read someone’s mind. To the occultic, transformation means complete demonic mind control in order to follow the antichrist. Churches today are teaching the youth that ‘worship’ is hysteria and loss of the senses, therefore literally preparing unbelievers for occultic mind control. This ‘transformation’ is rendering many to lean toward the occultic agenda to eradicate the need for written Truth and fight ‘evil’ (anyone who doesn’t adhere to the Rhema (voice of God). This is not the true Rhema of God, but Satanic.

Therefore the Church is becoming MILITANT against itself. Rick Warren, Mike Bickle and Rick Joyner push the agenda to eliminate the ‘old wineskins”, those who are in the way of the coming “Global Church”. Nowhere in Scripture does it tell us of a great Harvest and a “Global Church of God” in the end days. Jesus said “men would wax worse and worse.” He also said that MANY false prophets would arise, deceiving many by signs and wonders! Yet, Bickle and Joyner and others are misleading millions because they go by spirit realm ‘revelations’ instead of the Truth of the written Word. There are many God-loving people who have been brain washed by these false teachers and Jesus warned us that in the last days, men would no longer follow sound doctrine.” (II Timothy 4) “Come out of her, my people…” Revelation 18:4" End quote.

Christian Persecution- MARTYRED:176,000 Killed in One Year

That number is astonishing and very disturbing. But Jesus told us persecution would increase.

MARTYRED: 176,000 CHRISTIANS in ONE YEAR

A new ministry partnership has launched a campaign to raise
awareness of the fact that an estimated 176,000 Christians around
the world were martyred - killed for their faith - in a one-year period
from the middle of 2008 to the middle of 2009.

That's 482 deaths per day, one every three minutes.

Martyrdom didn't go away with the Middle Ages, according to
reports from Open Doors USA, which now has combined efforts
with actor Kirk Cameron of "The Way of the Master" ministry as
well as evangelist Ray Comfort of Living Waters ministry to focus
on those who are being persecuted for their faith.

The groups have announced a webinar on Thursday, an interactive
Internet-based seminar, featuring Cameron, Comfort and Carl
Moeller, the president of Open Doors USA.

Registration is open to the public and free of charge.

Emeal Zwayne, executive vice president of Living Waters, said that
few Christians in the U.S. are even aware "that an estimated
176,000 Christians were martyred from mid-2008 to mid-2009.

"It's so hard to believe that in this day and age so many Christians
are losing their life for their faith. It's as though we in the U.S. live
in a different world from the rest of the Body of Christ," he said.
"We want to ask the question that is on a few people's lips - will
persecution ever come to America? And if so, what can we do
about it?" he said.

Zwayne said the ministries have been working together "to try and
draw attention to the plight of the Persecuted Church, because
Scripture tells us to remember those who are persecuted for the
sake of Christ."

"Open Doors is a wonderful organization, and together we want to
do all we can to highlight this often forgotten cause," he said.

In a recent New York Times article, "Is it too much to say that America is being remade into a radical Marxist State? According to the New York Times, Obama Limits When U.S. Would Use Nuclear Arms," by David E. Sanger and Peter Baker:


"President Obama said Monday that he was revamping American nuclear strategy to substantially narrow the conditions under which the United States would use nuclear weapons...Mr. Obama described his policy as part of a broader effort to edge the world toward making nuclear weapons obsolete, and to create incentives for countries to give up any nuclear ambitions. To set an example, the new strategy renounces the development of any new nuclear weapons, overruling the initial position of his own defense secretary." The bottom line is that Obama is dangerously weakening our nation and for what purpose?

Revelation 13 tells us that there is a coming one world government and a one world economic system. There is a secret elite running America that is deliberately destroying the dollar so that a global currency can arise. In addition, America is being deliberately weakened militarily so United Nations army can control the world. The long term goal is one world religion headed up by the False Prophet and a new world order ruled by the Antichrist. World events are moving us in this direction faster than you think.

The Administration has shown open hostility to the nation of Israel, bringing us closer every day to a regional thermonuclear war between Israel and Iran. It is also a direct violation of the everlasting covenant that God made with Abraham and his physical descendants, "I bless those that bless thee, and curse those that curse thee." America has enjoyed the protection and blessing of God. But, when America curses Israel, America goes under a curse. The implications of that curse are frightening to ponder.

Each day under the direction of Putin, Russia is expanding its control of the world's oil supply in the Caspian Sea region. The Russian navy, stationed in Cuba and Venezuela, has nukes aimed at the U.S. Will Russia step into the conflict between Israel and Iran, and will this fulfill the Ezekiel 38 War of Gog and Magog.

Tragically, many in the Laodecian Church of America are blind to the signs of the times that Jesus Christ warned us about. They need the eye salve of Holy Spirit that only genuine revival can bring. Daily our Constitutional freedoms, such as freedom of religion are being destroyed.

The Corporate-controlled media and the DHS are trying to label all Bible believing Christians potential terrorists and dangerous "right wing extremists. Make no mistake about it; this is a strategic attempt to demonize Christians, which will lead to persecution.

A prophetic super-storm is rising all around us. Peacefully participating in the political process is good, but only a genuine revival will save us.

The Bilderberg Group, which consists of some of the most powerful men and women in the world, announced that they had plans to microchip the U.S. population with a biochip implant. Some experts believe that buried in the language of the Health Bill is microchip implant.

Then on page 1004 it describes what the term "data" means in paragraph 1,
section B:


''(B) In this paragraph, the term 'data' refers to information respecting a device described in paragraph (1), including claims data, patient survey data, standardized analytic files that allow for the pooling and analysis of data from disparate data environments, electronic health records, and any other data deemed appropriate by the Secretary"
