America- A Country in Trouble

I feel led by the Holy Spirit to post this article I heard about the other day. I had also watched some YouTube videos about the subject of a coming "bank holiday" in Aug-Sept time frame. I don't believe half of the junk you see on YouTube and you certainly cannot consider most of what you read on the Internet as 100% truth. But this bears watching because God continues to warn His people about what is coming.

On June 8th as I was doing my prayer walk, the Holy Spirit said to me "Tishri". I was vaguely aware that the word was related to the Hebrew calendar. I do not know for sure why the Holy Spirit spoke this word to me.

Tishri is the 7th month on the Hebrew calendar. The month of Tishri, which falls during the months of September and October on the Gregorian calendar, is probably the busiest time of the year for Jewish holidays. These include the holidays known as the "High Holidays," the most important holidays of the Jewish year: Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Last year on the eve of Rosh Hashanah during the month of Tishri the stock market crashed 777 points. I posted about it here:

This rumour could become TNT for the USA. Newsletter publisher Harry Schultz who correctly forecast the 2008 stock tsunami and outperformed the market more or less as long as he invests, comes up with truly hot stuff.In its current issue the Harry Schultz Letter (HSL) (via Marketwatch, HT John Trudgian) reports rumors that "Some U.S. embassies worldwide are being advised to purchase massive amounts of local currencies; enough to last them a year. Some embassies are being sent enormous amounts of U.S. cash to purchase currencies from those governments, quietly. But not pound sterling. Inside the State Dept., there is a sense of sadness and foreboding that 'something' is about to happen ... within 180 days, but could be 120-150 days."

His apocalyptic projections don't end there:

"Another FDR-style 'bank holiday' of indefinite length, perhaps soon, to let the insiders sort out the bank mess, which (despite their rosy propaganda campaign) is getting more out of their control every day. Insiders want to impose new bank rules. Widespread nationalization could result, already underway. It could also lead to a formal U.S. dollar devaluation, as FDR did by revaluing gold (and then confiscating it)."

This is one more rumor adding to my suspicions something big is going to happen. An imperium in decline will play all dirty tricks in order to stay afloat. There are no green shoots to be seen for several years, as explained in my 600+ earlier posts. We are in for a K-winter (Kondratieff).

Was the swine flu just a test run for a deadlier pandemic? Or will the US default by waging WW3?
Section 25C of the Federal Reserve Act (adapted in 1994) explicitly says that the USA does not have to repay debts to a country if the two countries are engaged in a war.

People of God, recent years have been a time of cleansing, repairing the foundation and learning. God has gently penetrated areas of sin and dysfunction in our lives and has taught us how to deal with them through an army of His servants teaching inner transformation and wholeness. We’ve seen major life changes. Hearts have come to repentance. Longstanding bitterness has been laid to rest. Marriages have been healed. The weak have grown strong. Now there is so much idolatry in the church yet to be dealt with but not much time on God’s countdown you will see a great increase of judgment in the House of God everywhere. Judgment will come on nations that support radical Islam and it’s Sharia Law. The judgment on Islam will come partly in the form of diminishing wealth, as we see a new method of fueling our transportation system; also, great earthquakes.

Now we who are God’s people and live the overcoming life because of the process of growth we’ve been through, God is going to release favor on us like we’ve never seen before, if we will pick up what we’ve been given and move with it.

He loves each of us because that is the nature of grace, but to be entrusted with the exercise of real power is a different issue.

To be entrusted with real power requires a deeper level of the character of Jesus in us. This is why judgment has begun to fall and leaders are being exposed in their sin. Without the character of Jesus we inevitably become abusers. For a great many of us who’ve been in training through these last years, that process of character formation has been the focus of life. We’ve lived an extended season of preparation.

We now have come to a season of great prophetic fulfillment and prophetic release. What God has promised is coming to us and we are moving from the season of the refreshing anointing of the Lord into an anointing of promised power. You and I are called to take this power outside the church walls and into the market place. This has been prophesied and is underway. Prophecies of this nature usually don’t come to fulfillment by accident; but because people acted upon them. I am seeing this everywhere.

God is bringing light and vision to business people who had given up. We have come into a season of increase in the prophetic itself, when most of what we do by our actions and by what we say with our mouths will carry prophetic significance and prophetic impact. The prophetic word uproots what is not God and plants what is, breaks down what is not God and builds what is. (Jeremiah 1:10). We have been called to be a church that by its very existence causes things not of God to fall, and things of God to rise!

It is past time for those of us with prophetic anointing to carry that out into the world, the market place, and the neighborhood. When people know by the prophetic word that God has their name and address delivered by someone in love with Jesus, they respond. It is past time to overcome our fear and begin to cross the boundaries to touch those outside the faith. The culture around us is daily becoming more ripe to receive.

Giving God our high praises at home, in our cars, in the church setting, enjoying the Presence of God without another agenda, will take us to places in God we have never known! God is now coming to us in dramatic ways as we praise Him and enter into worship of God--Who He is and His Majesty.

John 4:23 (But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.) vs. 24 (God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.)

I just received a call from my sister, who is an intercessor, who informed me that other prayer warriors and prophets from different places said to put the word out to pray against the summer and the grave difficulties at hand beginning after June 21, 2009. Our friends in Dallas called the other night saying the storm was so severe that nearly a half million people had no power and that the water was up so high that people had to come in by boats to rescue others. We’ve had flash floods for three days, here in Missouri, and the mighty Missouri River is at its peak. Many low lying areas are flooding and people have had to leave. Our ministry friends came this week from Denver, who said they had had an excess of fifteen tornadoes which is a new record for Colorado. We have lost some small communities here from tornadoes in the last six days. The weather is getting more dangerous, it seems, each week! We, here in Jackson Co. MO, are under a tornado watch, which is the fifth time this week.

I have a sense that we need to pray against the spirit of anarchy in our cities and neighborhoods all over the USA.

Repent of Religion

This is a good article from Christian Post.com. In my own search for a church I have been an eye witness to the things spoken of in this article. It seems that people loose sight of the most important thing and that is the "personal relationship" that we can have with God.

A good way to gauge whether you are on track or not would be to ask yourself this question; when was the last time God gave you a word or spoke to you in other ways that He speaks to His people? If you can't remember or if the answer is 'never', then you have got to step up to the plate and rectify that immediately. Talking to God is not a ritualistic exercise. It is a sincere heartfelt conversation.

May we all repent of "Religion"!


Christians Urged to Repent of Religion

Religion may be choking the growth of Christianity in America. It's not so much postmodernism that many Christians lament of, or the "harder hearts" of the younger generation, or a less interested God that's causing more and more pews to be empty. Rather, the culprit seems to be religion, as one Durham, N.C., pastor pointed out.

"Religion seems to choke out the Gospel among God's people," J.D. Greear, lead pastor of The Summit Church, told hundreds of pastors at Advance, a conference on the resurgence of the local church.


And until Christians repent of religion, no program, energy, or strategy will help them to grow, Greear said Friday.

Greear, 36, helped grow The Summit (originally Homestead Heights Baptist Church) from 400 people to some 3,000 and is continually reaching people from throughout the Triangle area. He doesn't claim to be an expert at church "revitalization" but he says he knows there are some things that have to happen in order for a church to revitalize around the Gospel.

And looking around the churches in his community and across the Bible Belt where churchgoers are getting fewer and older, he sees people asking "why?"

Why is God not moving? What is it about us? Greear posed.
Citing what Jesus reprimanded over 2,000 years ago, Greear said religion is keeping Christians from effectively carrying out God's will.

"In religion, there's no passion for God, there's no hunger to know Him," the Summit pastor said.

For "religious people," Christianity becomes more of a checklist of duties and behaviors – such as small group involvement, volunteering, taking a mission trip, and reading the Bible.

"That's what religion does. It reduces God to a set of duties," Greear noted.

In addition to substituting love for God for religious ritual, religious people often elevate secondary matters – such as dress code, alcohol, politics, taking care of the earth – above a love for God.

"We got churches that are filled with people who think they're going to heaven because they don't cuss, or drink bear, or because they vote Republican," he said.

"The tragedy is our emphasis on those things has kept us from calling them to real repentance."

The secondary traditions are important, but Greear noted that they've often replaced "the real thing."

"Anytime we preach a Gospel that leaves people thinking about what they're supposed to do for God and not what God has done for them, we have preached a false Gospel," he said to some applause.

Other characteristics of religious people, the young pastor listed, include seeking recognition and praise from people and elevating religious ritual over love for others.

"Religious people have a lot of rules but they don't have love," Greear said, adding that they are usually angry, judgmental and more concerned with winning an argument.

While religion makes one selfish and self-focused, the Gospel is about overwhelming love, he pointed out.

"One of the reasons we're so ineffective to people outside of Christianity [is] it appears we're trying to show them that we're better than they are," he said. "They know we're not."

Urging the pastors to return to a love for the Gospel, Greear called them to repentance – not of sin but of religion.

The 2009 Advance conference was held in Durham, N.C., June 4-6. Other speakers included theologian John Piper, Seattle pastor Mark Driscoll, and missiologist Ed Stetzer, among others.

Pathetic Prophetic

A friend recently sent me a link to the website of Junior DeSouza Ministries. I have not yet read his whole site and this is not an endorsement of him and his Ministry but I have been impressed by some of what I have read from him. What he is saying about prophecy and Prophetic Ministry is worth listening to.

The prophecy article below is dated May 27th, 2008. This witnessed in my spirit so strongly that I had to share this with others in hopes that those who are being called by the Lord into the Prophetic Ministry as I am would realize the seriousness of this calling and the importance of the responsibility and accountability that comes with it.

The prophetic is a tricky, slippery slope. Good discernment is crucial in navigating this territory. In addition, for the most part, the church has squashed the prophetic and most average Christians have no understanding of prophecy. Including the one third of the Bible that is prophecy.

Many denominations actually believe through dispensational teaching that prophecy died with John the Baptist. There are many scriptures that tell us VERY plainly otherwise. For a good example read 1 Corinthians chapter 14.

In order to enter into the prophetic calling you must be fully surrendered to God. What you want and what you think is not what matters. Patience, emotional endurance and holiness is crucial. Expect to endure not having many friends, being unpopular and scoffed and laughed at.

As I have observed and listened to other prophets I have been disturbed and perplexed with the things I have seen, heard and read. It seems that the state of the "prophetic" is indeed "pathetic". But I believe this has started to change as the Lord is leading and teaching through the power of the Holy Spirit a new "class" of prophetic people who are being raised up to serve the heart of the Lord which is His Bride.

Ego, arrogance and sexual immorality will NOT cut it! Nor will our own selfish agendas.

There are many things I don't understand about prophecy and I am not a Biblical expert. But what in the world is going on when two "prophets" working in tandem claim to be calling in God's judgments and tell the nation to "drink the cup of wrath" display mean spirited and mocking innuendo that they are the two witnesses of Revelation 11?

There is also a so called "prophetess" who claims she is the "woman of Revelation 12" when the glaring truth is that the woman of Revelation 12 is Israel!

And don't even get me started on the camp that endorsed the Todd Bentley "healing revival". Where is the DISCERNMENT?!

I watched Kim Clement on TV a couple of times and I just wanted to laugh. What is that? Now I know that King David was a "musical Prophet" and scripturally this is possible. Maybe it's me but I just don't understand a thing he says.

This page isn't long enough if I wanted to list all those who are prophesying "peace and prosperity", when the fact is judgment is about to fall!

Those who are spewing out this garbage are an example of "out of order prophets" serving their own lusts, egos and imaginations.

In addition, in church recently, a church elder and prophetess prayed and prophesied over me speaking some things, some of which I was aware of already, but she did not follow up with me and explain what she saw in the spirit. Bless her heart, I don't think she intended to do this. I just don't think she understands fully the ramifications of what she is doing. You cannot prophesy over people (just because you can) and then not follow up with them to pray or help bring understanding to what was said.

The Lord our God has Divine Providence over everything despite the fact that things may appear to be chaotic. So hold on, things are changing!

As to these pitiful "prophets"; I believe that if they will not repent of the foolishness they have fallen into then God may "turn them over" to their own vain imaginations. As we read in scripture God has no problem with letting those who don't seek after the truth and SERVE HIM from their HEART fall into delusion. (2 Thes 2:11)


Pathetic Prophetic

In 2009 and beyond, prophecy will begin to have much more serious levels of importance in western Christianity than in previous generations. Consequently, God is working intricately and intensely in many prophetic hearts to ready them for the coming years. 2008 has been one of many rewards for many Christians. However, for developing prophets, these rewards have been juxtaposed by ongoing deserts and gut-wrenching transformations. God is manufacturing a razor-sharp prophetic community to administer key graces to America and western society in the coming years.

There is a degree of prophetic maturity and credibility that must be for this to happen. I see four ways in which the Lord is moving prophecy from pathetic to truly prophetic.


(1) The imagination-revelation mix

Ezekiel 13 harshly condemns the false prophets of Ezekiel's day. Their defect? Proclaiming their own imaginations as the word of the Lord. Verse 2 (and 17) says they "prophesy out of their own imagination" and verse 3 says they "follow their own spirit".

Thankfully, New Testament prophecy has a slightly different tapestry than Old prophecy. Nevertheless, some of the same challenges remain. Prophets today are also in need of sifting and separating imagination from revelation. Less experienced prophesiers too readily accept the imagination's luminations as revelation. This is partly due to sheer inexperience, partly due to an impulsive Boanerges complex (Mk 3:17) that often marks developing prophets.

The imagination is the womb of creativity. It is our God-given likeness. With it we have created skyscrapers, theme parks, and almost everything we see. The imagination is just as capable of luminating us with ideas and impressions as the Holy Spirit is. In fact, imagination is something many Christians have depreciated and neglected. Nevertheless, distinguishing imagination from revelation is an aptitude every mature prophet has mastered.

LEAVING BABYHOOD: Imagination typically reflects personality and environment, and therefore, contains such overtones and undercurrents. The false prophets of Ezekiel's day created lying visions of peace with their hyper-active imaginations (Eze 13). The people's itch for soothing prophecies only encouraged that imaginatory flow. We must rigorously address our emotional life to ensure our psychosocial issues do not overactivate our imagination and confuse us.

Revelation is typically foreign to our personal thought-patterns. It contains divine spins, angles, or wordings that are slightly different than ours. At times, it may even be totally opposite to our personality, circumstances, sound advice, or common sense. Imaginatory flow often seems like and sounds like the imaginator and his surroundings, while revelatory flow often has a distinctly foreign quality.

Even with such differences, the two phenomena can sometimes still be confused. For, at times, the Holy Spirit will inject His revelations into our consciousness with amazing subtlety. When we are unsure, the wise route is to wait/look for subsequent confirmations from other sources. Job 33:14(NIV) is one of the best scriptures pertaining to this: For God does speak--now one way, now another--though man may not perceive it. He will authenticate Himself by sending the same message in different ways.

Learn to separate and authenticate what is revelation and what is imagination. Have the temperance to wait it out if necessary. John the Baptist spent years in desert solitude before ever uttering a word. He had to determine whether Isaiah 40:3 really pertained to him or if it was his ambitious imagination making it all up. Great prophets speak accurately because they speak selectively.


(2) Sensationalism

Many prophesiers expose their own babyhood through sensationalism. Insecurity and attention-cravings, identity crises and self-image concerns, are all at the root of melodramatic ministries. This does not mean these ministries are not genuine and used by God, but it does mean they are not yet mature and are forfeiting greater favor and power.

Emotion is vital to our spirituality. It cannot be amputated from the whole of our Christian experience, as some would imply. We are called to passion, zeal, and fervor (Ro 12:11), to weeping, mourning, and repenting (Jas 4:9,10), to dancing, celebrating, and shouting (Ps 150). Sometimes prophets need to illustrate their words graphically (Ac 21:10,11), and sometimes their words are accompanied by overwhelming emotion (Jer 20:8,9). This is basic Christianity and prophetic ministry. An emotionless Christianity or ministry is just as dysfunctional as an emotionless person.

What is not biblical, though, is manipulating a crowd's emotions through catchy gimmicks and tricks, forced and fabricated manifestations, pushing people down through force when praying for them, flaunting possessions to convey net-worth as equal to self-worth, or other ministry antics that are showy, theatrical, and egocentric. Is God a circus owner that He calls clowns as His messengers?

LEAVING BABYHOOD: Paul tells us what our ministry substance should be (2Co 4:2): We have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

In 1Thessalonians 2:3-6 he addresses the same matter: For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you...we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed--God is our witness. We were not looking for praise from men, not from you or anyone else.

Listen to Paul! Friends, it's long past due we checked our egos, not at the door, but first thing every morning before the Lord and before our closest loved ones. It's long past due we chastised our egos and embraced lifelong humility. It's long past due we crucified our craving to be noticed and remembered. It's long past due we Christened our struggling self-image, and learned to minister with a down-to-earth authenticity. Friends, we must walk away from sensational antics to minister in even higher levels of prophetic precision and power. Great prophets don't need side-shows, they have the hand of God dropping bombs of blessing in and through them.


(3) Prophetic individuation

Many prophetic words I hear/read are not at all prophetic, they are pathetic. They are simply a regurgitation of the current spiritual fad. The language, concepts, and catch-phrases are all similar. If you've heard one you've heard 'em all. These "prophecies" typically appeal to younger, ignorant, hurting, or bored Christians. They have a high flesh-mixture or imagination-mixture diluting or clogging the authentic word.

Authentic prophecies should complement or complete one another, but should also possess unique nuances. Prophets should be just as original and individual as Agabus was different from Judas and Silas. Prophetic individuation must and will flesh out in greater ways this final half of 2008.

LEAVING BABYHOOD: Individuation means "the quality of being individual, distinct, unique, or original". The prophet's wilderness creates this individuation, but the process can be sped up by doing some homework to find one's own truest prophetic voices.

The first thing that must be peeled away is the wanna-be facade. Many developing prophets go through a phase where they try to be a great prophet. They force or fabricate prophetic words, or annoyingly attribute every good thought to the Holy Spirit (as if He were a chatterbox). They push themselves on others, albeit subtly, and continually assert their gift. These wanna-be's get really weird really fast.

No great prophet ever tried to be a great prophet. He or she simply loved God with unprecedented romance and matured in Christlike character. God, in turn, lavished gifts and rewards all over that prophet. Wanna-be prophets need to lay down the prophetic obsession and rediscover the greatest commandments.

Once a prophet does this, he will find himself in Christ. He will find his truest identity and design. He will find all the nooks and crannies of his own prophetic personality. He will no longer hop on the current spiritual bandwagon, but he will find his own prophetic voice that creates fresh movements of all kinds wherever his voice is heard.

(4) Education

The more I interact with the church, the more I realize how much we need education concerning New Testament prophecy. I am not referring only to Christians within prophecy-practicing circles, but to all subcultures within Christianity. Because my ministry is cross-denominational, I get a neat panoramic view of what's happening all across God's church. And, I come across many Christians who despise or fear prophecy, not necessarily because they do not believe in it, but because they feel that we, prophecy practitioners, have failed to educate and explain legitimately what we're doing and why.

Many critics of contemporary prophecy are NOT religious spirits. They are solid Christians asking solid questions that demand solid answers. For example, how and why are Old Testament and New Testament prophecy different? What is the relationship between Scripture and prophecy...isn't there a conflict of authority? What should be done to prophets who "miss it"? What are the safeguards so prophecy does not harm or mislead? Does prophecy even matter?

Some books have been written to answer these and other questions (Wayne Grudem, Michael Sullivant), but there needs to be much much more until the church (all of it) is flooded with more than enough educational tools.

LEAVING BABYHOOD: We can begin by educating our constituencies. In my case, the Lord led me to develop a website that comprehensively addresses every possible aspect of New Testament prophecy. We need to teach and explain well guys. Take the time. Back up and slow down. Educate the people you prophesy to, individually and corporately. Help them understand prophecy, how it should be tested and prayed through. Explain its blessings and benefits, as well as its limitations and shortcomings. Explain why prophecy is necessary, even amidst a completed Bible. Explain the supremacy of Scripture, even amidst prophetic ministry. As prophecy moves up to a better place in 2009 and beyond, we must be prepared to explain and educate excellently concerning all aspects of New Testament prophecy.

It's Just the Truth by Paul Washer

Wow! This is powerful! Open your ears for this man is speaking the truth!

Chicago Earthquake Prophecy

The Lord is sending out the warnings of what is coming to the land of America! These warnings are coming with more frequency now.

On May 6th I was in prayer seeking answers to the "strike against the heart of America" prophecy from Pastor Vincent Xavier. I felt very strongly in my spirit that his prophecy lines up with the vision given to Tera Leonard. (See below).

The Lord spoke to my spirit a VERY strong revelation "Abraham Lincoln". As you know Illinois is known as the "Land of Lincoln". This area is also known as the "heartland".

I sent an email to Tera and told her about these things and here is what she wrote back to me on May 11th: "what is strange, me and my sister were looking and enjoying the weather and a set of clouds passed by that looked like Abe Lincoln on his back!!! This was yesterday. There was a sign in the heavens!!!!"

Tera believes this will be an earthquake but we have not received a for certain revelation about this at this time.

On May 12th the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said "Ezekiel 3". This scripture states that if the Lord gives a watchman a warning and that warning is not sent out to the people then the blood of the people is on the hands of the watchman.

I believe this is coming VERY soon! How soon? I believe only God knows this. I am suspect about prophecies with a date attached to them. A date of June 9th was put forth. For your prayer and discernment. Read about it here.

Tera Leonard's Chicago Vision:

April-17-2008 at 2:00 a.m. As I proceeded to lay down I hear a males voice say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH". I ignored it and it said for a second time even louder "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH". I immediately know who it was and I know he was talking about my life but he had much more to show me. I was scared at first but I knew his presence and that it was no danger. I heard voices all around me whispering and talking and so I cleared my throat to let them know that I was awake and aware. So immediately after I shut my eyes I awoke. I was no longer at home. I looked down and saw that I had on my same clothes that I went to sleep in then all of a sudden I was transformed into a white robe and shoes and ascending down.

I was in a building that had window in it and I could see people walking on the streets. I looked up toward the sky and the heavens opened up with this radiant light that a mans voice was speaking from and he told me repeatedly "CHICAGO WILL BE THE FIRST TO FALL". I looked up and said "why?" and I walked over to warn the people but a power shield or force preventing me from doing so. Next I heard a large bang and the street that the people were walking on came literately up. I do not know what Chicago will be hit with but what I saw was strong enough to shake and tear the ground into pieces. I will never forget the man that will be wearing sunglasses, the black suit with stripes. They are not going to know what hit them.

Note- May 19, 2009- I did an Internet search using the keywords "Chicago earthquake prophecy" and I found many other prophecies in the search results concerning a coming earthquake that will hit Chicago and the surrounding area. There is one that dates back to 1973 from a man named Chuck Youngbrandt. Do a search for yourself and read these other prophecies. The thing that is so disturbing is that it is prophesied that this earthquake event will open the door for the Russian / Chinese invasion of America which has also been seen by thousands of God's people in dreams, visions and word of knowledge for the past 40 years.

America Under Judgment

AMERICA UNDER JUDGMENT! GOD'S FINAL CALL FOR REPENTANCE

I have been teaching The Book of Ezekiel at the King's College & Seminary. God told Ezekiel that He has appointed watchman to warn the people of God of impending danger. If the watchman saw the enemy coming and failed to warn the people, then God would hold the watchman accountable for the blood of the people. Yet if the watchmen was faithful in his duties and warned the people by blowing the trumpet, and if the people ignored his warning's, then their blood would be upon their own hands.

In addition, God warned Ezekiel about the false prophets. Tragically, there are many false prophets in America, Europe and other nations. But, these false prophets have a message that the people want to hear. The false prophets are telling the people just believe God, make positive confessions and everything will be fine. The false prophets are not alerting God's people to the grave dangers ahead and their "just smile and be happy sermons" are keeping the people in a kind of hypnotic trance while destruction is coming to America and many other nations. Today, I come before you as a watchman and ask you to hear the Word of the Lord.

The "Evangelical Church" in America, with some exceptions, has become the Laodecian Church that Jesus spoke to in Revelation and it has moved into apostasy. President Obama's Department of Homeland Security has sent a strong signal that it intends to persecute and go after Christians, who are pro-life, believing in End Time's teaching, believe in traditional marriage and who are patriotic. Secondly, Obama's "National Service Corps" has stated that no one who is involved in church, sings in the choir, goes to Bible studies, participates in worship services or shares their faith is allowed to be part of the National Service Corps.

The pastors who were weeping with joy over his election are soon going to be weeping with tears when their churches are shut down and they are taken away in handcuffs. On every hand, forces are moving with lightning speed to censor the Internet, censor talk radio, and make it a "hate crime" to preach from the Bible and to believe marriage is between a man and a woman. Make no mistake about it pastors are going to be arrested in the near future for preaching the Bible and churches are going to be shut down. The flood gates of persecution have opened in America. The reason our troops are in Afghanistan is because Pakistan is about ready to fall to the Taliban and the Islamic terrorists will have their hands on 100 nuclear warheads. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has sounded a new call for the total destruction of Israel.

The American people are living in a dream state of consciousness and that would include much of the church. Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke predicts the end of the recession. Yet, we lost 491,000 jobs in April. We still have immense deficits and a multi trillion dollar national debt. Both the Republican and Democratic Party are concerned with cosmetic solutions. But, there is going to be a horrific blow-back!

The Christian Church is acting exactly like the Church acted in pre-Nazi Germany. In fact, much of the theology being preached right now, whether it is called the Emergent Church or the "Seeker-Friendly" movement, could have come right out of the German School's of Theological Higher Criticism. Hitler called for a "Positive Christianity" and the Evangelical Church of Germany put Hitler in power and actually supported him.

I hear a trembling in the heavens. Israel... God's prophetic alarm clock is blaring loudly to the church, calling it to wake up. God has not called believers to fatalism or fear! We need to be ready to "rumble" using spiritual weapons. We are at the crossroads! The only thing that can save America is God and America must support Israel or suffer the wrath of God. The Lord had set my heart on fire. I am a burning man! I am a watchmen and I am sounding the alarm.

I literally weep over the apostasy that has swept our churches, pulpits and seminaries. We need to ask Him to send a genuine revival before His soon return. Only a genuine revival and a Third Great Awakening before His return can spare our nation.

"Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will pledge with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with these scenarios, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government."

To the United States and the Church- BRACE YOURSELF!

This very important prophecy comes from Pastor Vincent Xavier of New Wine Ministries. He spoke this on the April 25th Watchman Radio program. I have paraphrased what he spoke. For your wisdom, discernment and prayer.

"To the United Sates and the Church. A strike against the heart of the United States of America is very near. The strike is going to hit at the heart of this nation. The impact of this strike is going to be so deep that it will send shock waves throughout this North American continent in a circular form. Tell the people in the United States of America to 'brace yourself!' It is on the radar."

So what do you think the heart of America is? The Midwest? Chicago? New York City? What is "on the radar?" The weather? Earthquake? Missiles?

Vincent Xavier also said that we should be where we want to spend the next 3 1/2 years by about September or October of 2009.

My opinion is that the smart thing to do is to listen to what the Lord has instructed you to do and nothing else.

This very powerful prophecy comes from a man named Donald Taylor. I do not know who he is nor have I found anything else about him on the Internet. I will tell you when I read this it resonated in my spirit as truth. I sent it to others who also have confirmed it is real.

I feel led by the Holy Spirit to post it and I pray that all who read it will use your discernment and pray for wisdom from the Lord God. His judgment has started and there is something very major getting ready to occur. Brace yourself! BUT- remember this, know Jesus and know peace.

For I hear the Lord say, you Church world. Your house is left unto desolate. You have mocked me with your sin and your spiritual fornication for the last time. Now I shall spew you lukewarm Laodecian Church out of My mouth. For you have allowed the spirit of Jezebel to rise up in your midst! You have allowed these smooth ones, these false ones to itch your ears with enticing words of man’s wisdom. To tell you things that you wanted to hear. To make excuse to turn your face to following after the evil of your own hearts. You do not see that you're spiritually blind. Naked. Covered in your own self righteousness. For I God shall now cast you out for the dung that you are. Come out of her My true Remnants. Come out of her you who still feel My call upon your life. My Spirit within your hearts. And put up the sign of the torch. For all those who are lukewarm, dedicated to following after their own hearts shall be turned into fables. Shall be turned over to a spirit of delusion to worship another Jesus. A Jesus who has no dedication. To follow after your own lusts. To do your own thing even as the children of Israel did their own thing and were cut off from entering into the promises of God. The Most High God will cut you off of eternal life and turn you over to another spirit.

For the Lord would speak to His true ones at this time. Those who fear my name. For I shall take my Remnant and gather them together under the shadow of my Wings. And establish them in My places of refuge, into the wilderness and into a place of faith with Me. Any by faith I shall lead you into My promise that you might possess the Kingdom of God that is in the midst of your heart. But for those who do not awaken themselves to know the truth in this hour, they shall be turned in darkness.

For you know not, My people that I the Lord have been preparing my Handmaids and My Servants in this hour. Preparing My true anointing in this hour to come out of the wilderness to stand their watch. For even this day the Lord thy God doth plant this one in your midst. To be as a Deliverer even as I God sent Moses to deliver My people who were enslaved by Egypt. That I may use him to free the captives and to raise up a new people in this hour. For there is much work to be done My people. Not just in the spiritual but also in the natural to prepare a vast contingent of men, women and children to get out of the cities and to be planted in the wilderness. Oh, you cannot see the vastness of preparation that is at hand. Even as I God have shown My Servant David Terrell back in the 50’s and the 60’s of a Remnant coming together like ants preparing for winter. And I would have you to know that the Antichrist kingdom is now to arise in the earth. That even now an evil one has been allowed to take office to bring America into a New World Order and into a police state. For soon now the camps will be filled with those who have been taught that they shall escape these coming judgments. For this is the time of America’s fall and to be taken over by her enemies. If you remain in the cities you will be forced into the camps. And you will realize that you have been lied to by this prosperity gospel of no sacrifice, no self denial. For only if you lose your life at this time for Me will you save it.

For these smooth ones who have prophesied this false peace and prosperity and a taking out of tribulation has built for you a foundation of sand. For you will be given a choice to either compromise your faith, or take a stand for truth. Soon, the 5th seal shall be opened. Multitudes of Christians are not prepared for the shock that soon shall face the denominational Church world. For many of you will soon face the guillotines and be given a choice. Will you give your life as a testimony or deny Me and have your name taken out of the Book of Life? For it is later than what you think. This prosperity teaching and soft preaching has not prepared you to stand and to withstand and to be purified and made ready for My coming. For I the Lord Jesus will allow this antichrist system, this kingdom of darkness to rise in the earth. And on the other hand you shall see the kingdom of God rise up in great authority and great power and anointing.

Time has now run out to do your own thing. Time has run out to be going your own ways. Now you either heed the call and come in and sup with Me or be cast into outer darkness. America and Canada, I shall now move swiftly to perform My Word in the earth and to bring it to pass. For even now My olives, my prophets shall begin to speak My Word for the last time. No longer will I hold my arms out for you to come to Me, you cold Church world! Choose now to sell out to Me completely, or go into captivity. For I God shall now bring forth My first fruits in the lands. My Sons and My Daughters. For the Prophets of Doom are at the door. Even now the Lord doth unlatch the gate to speak My words of death and destruction. All the words of My ancient Prophets shall once more be spoken by the manifestation of the spoken Word. Instant destruction on whole cities that refuse My grace. But for those who cry out to Me in true repentance, I the Lord will hear your cry and move on your behalf. For the Lord is going forth to build His living Temple. Calling for the living stones to fall into their place. Hear you Me sayeth the Almighty One. For I God have placed My Spirit of Deliverance within Joshua to lead a new generation into the wilderness and into My promises. For even the hour came for a new generation to cross over the Jordan, to enter into My promises. I God am raising up a Joshua Company out from this older generation to go forth to do great exploits in this hour of trial. To push back and to hinder the spirit of Antichrist for a time and a season.

For know and behold that I the Lord shall raise up and bring forth all the mantles throughout all the ages of time. My Davids in the earth shall arise with My words of power and great authority. You know not that My kingdom is about to be unveiled in the hearts of a people foreordained to come forth in My image and likeness. Now begins seven years of dread upon America and the world. Seven years that the cup of My wrath shall be poured out to bring a humbling to the nations. For no longer will I God allow the name of Jesus to be blasphemed. To be taken lightly. To be mocked. For this is the time that I God am returning in flame of fires to bring forth a time of purging and to prepare a people to be sealed. For only those who are sealed by My Spirit in this hour, only those who have the doorposts of their hearts marked by the blood of the Lamb shall escape My righteous judgments. For I God shall pour out My indignation upon the ungodly and the sinner. Run to Me the Lord would say! Run to Me that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

Come out of the cities across the West Coast. Across the West Coast. Hear you the Voice of the Lord. The Spirit of His judgments will now begin to be spoken by many of My olives. I shall not spare America or acquit her for her sins. I shall not relent upon My judgments upon the West Coast where millions will die. I God have warned you for decades and decades. For all of this North America coast shall shake as a sign of a shaking revival to prepare your lives to get out of destruction. To get out of the line of My judgments. To get out of these Sodomite cities. For the death toll of the bell will soon sound and I shall fill your streets with your death. For the man of sin will follow this revival. The Antichrist will follow this spiritual awakening. Hear you the Words of the Lord. For God has spoken it and He will not relent. These are not the words of a man but the words of God put within this vessel to awaken My people. For great sorrow, great sadness, great hardships and a great loss of life is at the door and a time of great persecution is in the making. Come out of her My people. Come out of Babylon and live. For it is time to enter ye into My rest that I have told you about in My word. You know not that the God of Heaven is bringing forth a new leadership in the land. For the old has become corrupted. Jesus the King is Coming. People are not ready!

On March 21st, 2009 the Lord Jesus gave me a message during my prayer, "My child, pray for my sheep without ceasing." When I received this I asked, "Lord is the door to be shut soon?" He said "Not yet." But I felt in my spirit that the time is getting very short.

Others I have spoken to have also received instructions to pray just for the remnant. In Daniel 12:10 we read "Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand."

I believe that at some point in the very near future the wicked will be locked into their wickedness and because they do not have a love for the truth God will turn them over to their wickedness. (Romans 1).

I had also received a word from the Lord God Almighty on November 18, 2009. Through the power of the Holy Spirit He said to me in that still small voice "My son is coming back to the earth so much sooner than any can imagine. The Lord Jesus Christ is coming on the clouds with ten thousands of His Saints and the whole world will see and the nations will weep for the King of Kings has returned to the earth to establish His Kingdom and the kings of the kingdoms of this earth will be no more!"

I believe the Lord is coming "as a thief" and the people are not ready. Please, Repent NOW before the door is shut! Please before it is too late.

He Shall Bear Their Iniquities

This video is very powerful. I wept deeply when I watched it. People don't really understand how brutal and inhuman crucifixion was. The Romans killed millions this way. There are some who have the audacity to say that Jesus really survived this and that is why he "rose from the dead". If that were true, why did 500 eye witnesses see him in a body that was clean, with no blood and his wounds clean and healed? It is heresy, plain and simple.

The prophet Isaiah prophesied about Jesus and His death about 700 years before it occurred.

Isa 53: 3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Isa 53:4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

Isa 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Isa 53:7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.

Isa 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

Isa 53:9 And they made His grave with the wicked-- But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see [His] seed, He shall prolong [His] days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

Isa 53:11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.

Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, “I will build My Church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.” (KJV). Guess what? He wasn’t kidding. You rarely hear about it on the news. You rarely even hear about it in churches in the West, in the East, or even in the Middle East. But the big, untold story is that more Muslims are coming to faith in Jesus Christ today than at any other time in history.

After criss-crossing the Islamic world over the last several years and interviewing more than 150 pastors and ministry leaders operating deep inside the most difficult countries for Inside The Revolution, I can report that in Iran, more than 1 million Shia Muslims have turned to Christ since 1979. In Pakistan, there are now more than 2.5 million followers of Jesus Christ. In Sudan, there are now more than 5 million followers of Christ. Not every country has seen millions leave Islam to become adherants of the New Testament teachings of Jesus. In Syria, there are between 4,000 and 5,000 believers, but this is up from almost none in 1967. In Saudi Arabia, there are about 100,000 followers of Jesus now, up from almost none in 1967. But overall, the trend has been dramatic and largely unreported.

For many Muslims, despair and despondency at what they see as the utter failure of Islamic governments and societies to improve their lives and give them peace, security, and a sense of purpose and meaning in life are causing them to leave Islam in search of truth. Some have lost their way entirely and become agnostics and atheists. Others, as we have seen, have sadly turned to alcohol and drug abuse. But millions are finding that only Jesus Christ heals the ache in their hearts and the deep wounds in their souls.

For other Muslims, it is not depression but rage that is driving them away from the Qur’an and the mosque. They are seeing far too many Muslim leaders and governments and preachers both advocating and acting out cruelty toward women and children and violence even against fellow Muslims. Not all of these find Jesus in their journey away from Islam, but millions do, especially since the 9/11 attacks against the United States. In fact, while this backlash against the theology and practice of Radicalism has been building since 1979, I first began to detect it during my travels in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East soon after 9/11. Again and again, I would meet people who had long been devout and traditional Muslims who told me that they had watched with horror as Arabic television networks constantly replayed the images of commercial airliners hijacked by radical Islamic jihadists flying into the World Trade Center.

First they found themselves weeping. But then they saw other Muslims cheering, and their sadness turned to anger as they asked themselves, “Is this who we really are? Is this what it really means to be a Muslim? To fly planes into buildings and kill thousands of innocent civilians? Because if it is, then count me out. How could I possibly be part of a religion or a political movement that glorifies and celebrates death?”

That said, what intrigues me is not simply that the Revivalists say the greatest spiritual awakening in the history of the Middle East is under way. What intrigues me is that Islamic leaders are worrying in public that a Christian surge is taking place in the region.

In 1993, a Saudi sheikh by the name of Salman Al-Odeh delivered a sermon entitled “Christian Missionaries Sweeping the Islamic World.” He argued that “in Spain [Christians] have the biggest center of missionaries to Africa. They are trained really well, and their efforts lead many Moroccans to convert.” He then cited the World Christian Encyclopedia—which he described as a “dangerous survey”—and warned his fellow Muslims that “the number of Christians in Africa was 9 million only in 1900 AD, or . . . 9 percent of the whole population. In the year 1980 they became 200 million! . . . They jumped from 9 to 200 million in 80 years [and the survey’s authors] expected them to reach 390 million in the year 2000, or 48 percent of the whole population of Africa.”

Eight years later, in December 2001, Sheikh Ahmad Al Qataani, another significant Saudi cleric, appeared in a live interview on Aljazeera satellite television to confirm that, sure enough, Muslims were turning to Jesus in alarming numbers. “In every hour, 667 Muslims convert to Christianity,” Al Qataani warned. “Every day, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. Every year, 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity.”

Let me give you an example.

I met “Shakir” during my first trip to Iraq in February of 2008. Another fearless and effective evangelist, church planter, and pastor in his war-torn country, Shakir (pronounced “Shah-keer”) has a tremendous passion to care for the poor and needy, preach the gospel—especially in villages and rural areas—and help young converts from Islam study the Bible and become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. But this was not always the case. Indeed, how Shakir became a Christian and entered full-time ministry is one of the most fascinating testimonies I have personally had the privilege of hearing firsthand. What’s more, spending time with him helped me understand more fully the theology of the Revivalists.

Our journey to a humanitarian relief project we were doing together was long and dusty and required our little team, traveling in an old Chevy Impala, to pass through numerous military checkpoints, each manned by heavily armed Iraqi soldiers and policemen checking passports and asking questions, all on high alert for members of al Qaeda and the Mahdi Army. Along the way, I found myself staring out at a landscape that was often as barren as the surface of the moon, covered with rocks, nearly devoid of vegetation, and only scarcely populated. During a lull in the conversation with an Iraqi in the car whom I had known for several years, I asked the meek-looking and mild-mannered Pastor Shakir how he had become a Christ follower and a pastor.

“Were you raised in a Christian home?” I asked through our translator.
“No,” he replied quietly. “I was raised a Muslim.”
“Really!” I said, a bit startled. “What did you do before becoming a pastor?”
“I was a jihad cell commander.”
I gulped. You don’t say, I thought. He certainly had my full attention now. “Please, tell me your story,” I said eagerly, pulling out my notebook. Shakir graciously agreed.

He explained that he was born in 1975 to a devout Sunni Muslim family and that as he grew up he became deeply religious. Even at an early age, he loved going to the mosque regularly, and by the age of seventeen, he had joined a secret Radical Islamic movement. He studied hard and learned quickly, and before long he was teaching the Qur’an in various mosques.

“My leaders then sent me to a military training camp where I was trained to use light weapons—pistols, machine guns, and RPGs [rocket propelled grenades]—against the infidels,” he told me. “I was so excited because I wanted to do jihad for God. I was fully convinced that the Shias and the Christians were blasphemers and that if I killed them I would be blessed.”

After successfully completing “Terrorism 101,” Shakir was made a jihad cell commander and was ordered to quietly recruit other jihadists. “I soon had a group of my own followers,” he explained. “I would put them through this military training and then help them get jobs in different government offices and other shops and businesses so they could spy for me and be in position to do great damage when we launched the overthrow of Saddam and his regime.”

One day, one of Shakir’s Radical Muslim disciples came to him and said that someone was distributing Bibles to everyone in the machine shop where he worked. The disciple was very angry and told Shakir that he had cursed out everyone in the shop, collected all the Bibles, and promptly destroyed them. All but one.

“He brought one Bible—a New Testament—to me and said I should read it and see how to react to it and counter it,” Shakir explained. He said he praised his disciple for acting quickly and decisively. Then he sent the disciple away and took the Bible home, and that night he began to read the Gospel according to Matthew.

“I read the book very fervently to find all the blasphemies and corruption,” Shakir said. “But I discovered the words started affecting my mind, and my heart started changing. These were powerful words, not human words. They seemed to me like God’s words. But I thought, ‘How could this be?’”

Shakir became deeply troubled. He kept reading through Matthew but was ashamed of himself because rather than finding fault with these Christian Scriptures, he found himself completely intrigued. He had so many questions. But whom could he ask? He couldn’t very well start discussing the life and teachings of Jesus with the members of the terrorist cell group he was leading. He couldn’t very well ask questions of the terrorist leaders above him. He didn’t dare seek out any Christians. So night after night he kept reading the Gospels, searching for answers. The more he did, the more troubled and anxious he became.
“After reading the Bible in a deep way, I began comparing it with the Qur’an,” he told me. “I was so confused, and in my confusion, I began pleading with God, ‘Please show me Yourself.’ I begged God, ‘Please, show me the right way—is it the Qur’an or the Bible?’”

This went on for several nights.

“One night,” he said, “I was really pleading with God fervently to show me the true, straight path. And that night I had a dream. I found myself standing on the side of a road. There was a large crowd gathered on both sides of the road, and they were cheering and very excited. And I realized that they were awaiting a parade to go by. So I looked down the road to see who was coming, and I saw many prophets riding on horses coming towards us. Suddenly Jonah was riding by. And then David. And Abraham. And Moses—riding on high, strong horses. Everyone was cheering and I was cheering. It was so exciting to see these prophets.”

Shakir kept waiting for Muhammad to come riding by as well, but Muhammad never came. He was not in the parade of prophets. Instead, Shakir said that “at the end of the procession, I saw another person riding, but He was riding on a donkey instead of a horse. He was wearing a white robe, and His face was covered by a white shroud. When this person approached, for some reason I heard myself calling out to Him and asking, ‘Are you Jesus?’ Like I said, His face was covered by a white cloth. So I couldn’t really see His face at that moment. But when He heard my question, the man pulled the cloth away from His face and smiled at me and nodded yes.

“Something came from His face that filled me with a joy I had never felt in my whole life. I started shouting, ‘I saw Jesus! I saw Jesus!’ I was so happy and so joyful and I was laughing. But as soon as I woke up, I realized that my pillowcase and my sheets were all wet around my head. I realized that at some point during my dream I had been crying—sobbing—in shame for all of my sins, for all of my hatred.”

Shakir said he found himself overcome with the realization that he had been so wrong about God, about Islam, about terrorism. He also found himself incredibly grateful and humbled that Jesus would come and rescue him and forgive him of all of his sins and set him on the true path to heaven.

“I felt a strong joy, and I wanted to find my Muslim disciples and tell them that I loved them and that Jesus loved them,” Shakir explained. “After that dream, my life was completely changed. I was eager to evangelize—to tell people about the love of Jesus Christ. I couldn’t hide that joy. The more I read of the Gospels, the more I felt I had to tell people about this love of God, even people that I had hated. This was not easy. I was mocked and persecuted by many. Once I was beaten by eight people. I was nearly assassinated three times. But it is okay. Since I came to know the Lord Jesus as my Savior, I am ready to put my life—and my family—as a sacrifice for Jesus.”

What a remarkable transformation, I thought as Shakir finished his story. He seemed to be thinking the same thing, for when our time was up and the interview was over, Shakir stood up, looked me straight in the eye, and without any expression on his face said, “Joel, you are very lucky.”“Yes, I think that’s true,” I said. “But why do you say it?”

He took a deep breath. “Because if I had met you in 1993, I would have killed you immediately.”

My pulse quickened, and then he added, “But now you are my brother in Jesus, and I love you!”

A huge smile flashed across his face. He threw his arms around me and gave me a bear hug. I breathed a big sigh of relief, and—laughing—gave him a hug as well.

“See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God.” —1 John 3:1
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Deception

I feel led by the Holy Spirit to write about the subject of deception. This issue as it relates to our walk with Christ is really a vast subject and I am just focusing on a small aspect of deceit in this post.

All of my writings on this blog pertain to my personal experiences and this post is no exception. I make no claims to be an authority on anything. When in doubt always trust the word of God.

In this "end of the age" the level of deception is increasing and according to scripture will be unprecedented. We all know that this is something we need to be very prepared for.

You know the scriptures, here are some of them from the New Testament:

2 Thessalonians 2:10-11

2 Timothy 4:3

Luke 21:8

2 Timothy 3:13

James 1:16

Revelation 19:20

What I am seeing as part of the backlash of the fear of deception is that many Christians are so afraid of deceit that they may be limiting God and stunting their spiritual growth. I believe this is a HUGE mistake.

As I read the word of God I always get the sense that we are to achieve BALANCE in all things. (Ecc 3:1) Why is it that we humans tend to have a hard time with this?

I once heard a Preacher say "God is to you the way you believe". In other words God will meet us where we are. If we are afraid to move beyond our "safe zone" and into the deeper things of Jesus then we are not partaking of all the wonderful things God has in store for us!

We are told in 1 John 2:26-27 "These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him."

God gives us His Holy Spirit which is our "helper". We must be filled with the Holy Spirit CONTINUALLY if we are to discern false prophets, deceptive doctrine and lying spirits. We also have another very important tool and that is prayer and spiritual warfare.

Spiritual warfare is something that Christianity 101 does not teach. This aspect of our walk with Jesus is crucial if we are to grow in Christ. As the saying goes - higher levels, higher devils.

God also allows us to be tested by many things including the spirit of deception. These tests are essential for us to learn how to detect deception and how to pray against it.

Those who have experienced the most severe deception are those who seem to be the most cautious. And they should be. In addition those who follow after signs and wonders are opening themselves up for deception.

Now I know that God is a supernatural God and I have experienced my share of signs and wonders. He tells us in Hebrews 2:4 "God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?" BUT, do not forget what we have been told about this in the word, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33.

This warning is meant to remind us to keep our eyes on Jesus and not on signs, wonders and men.

I know some folks who got involved with a "Christian community" and gave thousands and thousands of dollars to this venture only to discover that they were in fact involved in a cult. Is is possible God allowed this to happen, sure!

As a disciple of Jesus NONE of us are immune to deception. I believe it is something that we can EXPECT will happen.

The keys to avoiding deceit are walking upright with God, prayer, spiritual warfare, reading the Bible to know the scriptures, test the spirits and to WALK IN THE AUTHORITY GIVEN TO US BY JESUS CHRIST!

"And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease." Matthew 10:1

"Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases." Luke 9:1

In my own prayer life I have learned to start out my prayers by "binding the spirit of deception" and "commanding all lying, deceiving, unclean, hindering and demon spirits to leave in the name of Jesus."

I pray for God to protect me from deception and from deceiving others. I also pray for "wisdom and discernment", which is SORELY lacking in the church today!

Other things I pray for:

• Confirmation. (Do not act on something unless God has confirmed it to you).
• Patience to wait for the answer. (Our time is not His time!)
• The Full Armor of God (Read Ephesians 6: 10-18)
• CONFIDENCE to KNOW I am hearing His voice. (Remember that Jesus said "My sheep hear my voice" John 10:27, and "For God is not the author of confusion.." 1 Corinthians 14:33.
• Divine Revelation Knowledge. (If God does give you "word of knowledge", pray to confirm if it is from Him and whether He wants you to share it.)

And finally what we must all do to avoid deception is study the Word of God. Including the PROPHECIES to understand that they are there to warn us. This is VERY important! Many people do not study the prophecies because they think it is either way over their head or that it is not as important as the other scriptures of the Bible.

In closing I just want to encourage anyone reading this who is SO afraid of deception that you may be limiting what God wants to do in your life. Please try some of the things I recommend here. Please don't throw out the baby with the bathwater- so to speak and end up missing out on the amazing things God wants to do in your life!

The Ancient Book of Enoch

I found this article about the Book of Enoch and I had to post on this subject.

My mom told me that my Great Grandmother read the Book of Enoch regularly and told her that the reason it was left out of the Bible is because it tells the truth.

Well, I am sure there is more to it than that. I will say that this book sure does make you think twice about your sin. This book resonates with my spirit as revealed truth because it always glorifies God in a way that is almost superior to some of the scriptures in the Bible.

Sometimes when you tell people you are reading the book of Enoch they look at you as if you have two heads. "WHY would you do that?" they ask. And then they say, "Don't you know if God had intended for it to be in the Bible it would be there?"

A friend of mine believes, and I agree that God intentionally had this book left out of the Canons because it is almost too advanced and would have surely been distorted and perverted. I believe that the fact that it was left out and was left alone makes it unique and possibly more trustworthy!

Well I can't speak for God but I can say before you judge something you don't know anything about, learn something about it! So here is your chance.


The Ancient Book of Enoch

For at least the first seven hundred years following our Savior’s ministry, the Book of Enoch was highly respected. In those early centuries, it was read aloud in congregations and studied by ministers for its historic and prophetic value. Among the early Church Fathers who quoted Enoch were Clement, Barnabas, Irenaeus, and others. For example:

Clement (A.D. 30-100), the bishop of Rome and personal friend of the Apostle Paul, wrote that Enoch never died: "Let us take (for instance) Enoch, who, being found righteous in obedience, was translated, and death was never known to happen to him" (First Epistle of Clement to the Corinthians, ch. 9 ).

Barnabas (A.D. 44), who accompanied the Apostle Paul on his first missionary journey referred to the prophecies of Enoch, who said: "For this end the Lord has cut short the times and the days, that His Beloved may hasten; and He will come to the inheritance" (Epistle of Barnabas, ch. 4)

Irenaeus (A.D. 180) published his work "Against Heresies," in which he spoke of Enoch, whose translation was a prophetic view of our future rapture: "For Enoch, when he pleased God, was translated in the same body in which he did please Him, thus pointing out by anticipation the translation of the just" (Against Heresies, bk. 5).

These men believed that Enoch’s translation was a rapture — the same kind of translation that Christians anticipate. Even though the church did not include the Book of Enoch among the collection of divinely inspired writings, early Christian scholars believed that Enoch wrote the book, and that it had been preserved aboard Noah’s ark. It was among the oldest writings of the human race — the first apocalyptic literature ever written. In fact, some have suggested that Enoch helped develop the alphabet and literature as a means of communication.

This Book of Enoch was originally written in ancient Hebrew, fragments of which were discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls (Photo above.). We should note that rabbis claim Hebrew was the language of God, who made the universe using those 22 letters. Seth and Enoch were not the inventors of the alphabet, but rather, the recipients of God’s language — a communication tool from heaven given to mankind.

There were hundreds of Jewish writings preserved in the Jerusalem Temple’s library, which were not considered for inclusion among the biblical books, but that does not diminish their value. Enoch was one of those books. However, many of the early writings were lost during the Jewish wars against Roman rule.

Afterward, there were very few groups concerned with copying, publishing and preserving the Jewish library. Eventually, many of the books, including Enoch, faded from the scene. For centuries, the Book of Enoch was lost — only to be rediscovered in the eighteenth-century black communities of Jews and Christians in Abyssinia, a region in Northern Ethiopia. In 1773, the famous English traveler James Bruce obtained three copies of the book and brought them to Europe. As soon as these Ethiopian manuscripts arrived, translators began to produce copies in various European languages, including English. An ancient Greek manuscript also surfaced, corroborating the accuracy and authenticity of the Coptic language editions.

In 1821, a Professor Laurence (who later became the Archbishop of Cashel) published an English translation from the manuscript, with the title: "The Book of Enoch, the Prophet: an apocryphal production, supposed to have been lost for ages; but discovered at the close of the last century in Abyssinia; now first translated from an Ethiopic manuscript in the Bodleian Library. Oxford, 1821." A second edition was published in 1833, and a third in 1838.

The Book of Enoch has been divided into 20 sections, incorporating 108 chapters. Over the next few months, we shall publish these chapters with our commentary for the benefit of believers who are faithfully awaiting our Savior’s soon return. We do not advocate divine inspiration for this ancient apocalyptic literature, but feel that it is important for God’s people to become familiar with it, especially since it was written and addressed specifically to those living in the "day of tribulation."

Introduction to the Book of Enoch

The opening verse contains an introduction to the book. Although it appears to be the oldest apocalyptic literature ever written, predating the great Flood of Noah’s day, its opening verse plainly reveals that it was written specifically to the generation living in the end-time:

"The words of the blessing of Enoch wherewith he blessed the chosen and just, who will exist on the day of tribulation when all the wicked and impious shall be removed" (Enoch 1:1).

At once, we are astonished at this salutation. It appears to be addressed to us! The "chosen" might be a reference to Jews (long known as the Chosen People) and the "just" could be a reference to Christians living in these most unusual days. Today, with wars and rumors of wars besetting the Middle East, it seems as if the Tribulation Period may be just about to begin.

What did Enoch want us to know? Were his unusual themes, which are revealed in this ancient writing, simply hidden away for millennia, awaiting our generation? It is said that the Book of Enoch "does not belong merely to the curiosities of literature, but is a book of positive worth, and the source of much information to the patient investigator."

Who Was Enoch?

Other than what is written in this book, we know very little about Enoch. From the Book of Genesis, we learn that he was the seventh generation from Adam and the father of Methuselah; that he lived 365 years; that he walked with God and was translated alive into heaven:

"Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch;

"And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

"And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

"And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

"And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him" (Genesis 5:18,21-24).

The first verse in the Book of Enoch was addressed to those who will live in the generation that witnesses the Tribulation Period and the return of Jesus Christ, which, by the way, is the subject of the final verse of this opening chapter:

"And behold, he comes with myriads of the holy to pass judgment upon them, and will destroy the impious, and will call to account all flesh for everything the sinners and the impious have done and committed against him" (Enoch 1:9).

The New Testament book of Jude quotes this verse, thus increasing its value and importance to us:

"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, "To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him" (Jude 14,15).

Jude refers to Enoch as a prophet, saying that he "prophesied" the Second Coming of Christ. Also, Jude is the last of seven small books sandwiched between Hebrews and Revelation. These seven brief writings seem to allude to events in the seven-year Tribulation Period in somewhat of an abbreviated, but accurate chronology, at the end of which, Jesus will return in glory with His saints, just as Jude teaches. Jude, the seventh of these books, alludes to the seventh year of the Tribulation Period. Therefore, the passage quoting Enoch, depicts Christ’s glorious appearing at the end of the seven years. Since verses one and nine of Enoch’s opening chapter point toward the generation that will witness these things, we would do well to acquaint ourselves with this incredible writing.

Furthermore, it is said that Enoch may have produced as many as 30 books, all written in an ancient form of Hebrew, thought to be the oldest language. The following quote from a dissertation on the Hebrew alphabet was published in London, in 1767, in A Dissertation Concerning the Antiquity of the Hebrew Language, Letters, Vowel Points, and Accents, by John Gill, D.D. It tells us that early scholars were convinced that Seth, son of Adam, produced the Hebrew alphabet, and that Enoch delivered the prophecy quoted by Jude:

"In Syria and Mesopotamia are said to be some ancient books of the Zabians, which they pretend to be the patriarch Seth’s; and the Arabic writers say, that Seth was the inventor of writing letters, and showed them in the Hebrew tongue. If the account that is given of Cainan, the grandson of Seth, could be credited, it would not only prove the use of letters in those early times, but that the Hebrew letters were then used; the account is what is said to be sent by Alexander the Great, when in India, to his master Aristotle, and is as follows: ‘When I came to such a place in India, says he, the natives told me that they had with them the sepulcher of an ancient king that ruled over all the world, whose name was Cainan, the son of Enos, who foreseeing that God would bring a flood upon the earth, wrote his prophecy of it on tables of stone, and they are here; the writing is Hebrew writing.’

"Enoch, the seventh from Adam, delivered out the prophecy referred to by the apostle Jude, (verses 14,15) … the Jews make mention of a writing of his in their ancient book of Zohar; and in the Targum of Jonathan on Genesis 5:24, he is called the great scribe; and several of the Christian fathers speak of a book of his [i.e., The Book of Enoch] as authentic, as Tertullian and others; and the Arabic writers tell us of pyramids and pillars erected by him, on which he engraved the arts and the instruments of them; and some writers ascribe the invention of letters and writing of books to him" (A Dissertation Concerning the Antiquity of the Hebrew Language, Letters, Vowel Points, and Accents, by John Gill, D.D., ch. 2, pg. 36).

One other biblical passage mentions Enoch, revealing his faith and translation — the New Testament book of Hebrews:

"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God" (Hebrews 11:5).

Enoch experienced "rapture" — before the judgment of the Flood. What Enoch experienced is exactly what we are waiting for! We hold to our Savior’s promise that He will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God (I Thes. 4:15-17). Therefore, I would suggest that Enoch has excellent qualifications to inform and prepare us for the events of the end time.

Apostolic Vision for Israel and the Church

The article below is one of the best explanations I have read about the relationship of Israel and the Church of Jesus Christ. When you read the scriptures in light of how God is bringing this about, it is pretty amazing to see this starting to be fulfilled.

I meet with a mixed group of Christians and Messianic Jews once a week to do intercessory prayer for Israel and the Church. We pray for God to knock down the walls that keep the Church in darkness and the Jews in bondage. I believe God is using small groups to bring about a BIG awakening!

Our vision (and hopefully yours) is to fulfill the great commission given by Yeshua (Jesus). "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be witnesses of Me in Jerusalem, all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" - Acts 1:8.

There is an obvious connection between the work of the Holy Spirit and the mission of world evangelism. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek" – Isaiah 61:1. Some want to have charismatic experiences but not be involved in personal evangelism. Others want to run evangelism campaigns like a business without the supernatural experiences of the Holy Spirit. Neither is correct. The two go together.

These two great mandates – Holy Spirit and Evangelism – are connected to a third mandate, the "Israel" mandate. Acts 1:8 was given in response to the apostles' question in Acts 1:6 – "Will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" The early Jewish disciples had the timing wrong. It wasn't to be at that time (1st century), but it is to be in our time (21st century). Yeshua was destined at His birth to be king of Israel (Matthew 2:6, Luke 1:32, John 18:37), and He will return at the 2nd Coming to fulfill that destiny.

Restoring the kingdom to Israel will not happen without Holy Spirit revival and world evangelism. Yeshua's kingdom is from "Jerusalem" all the way to the "ends of the earth." Holy Spirit baptism, world evangelism and kingdom restoration go together. The prayer movement, the missions' movement and the messianic movement form a threefold cord.

Without the restoration of Israel one cannot understand the end times. As Yeshua ascended from earth to heaven from Jerusalem, so will He return to Jerusalem. "This Yeshua, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go up into heaven." – Acts 1:11.

His feet will soon again stand on the Mount of Olives: Zechariah 14:4 – "In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east."

Yeshua is head of the Church and king of Israel. His kingdom is connected to the restoration of both Israel and the Church. Some Jews want the restoration of Israel without the Church, and some Christians want the restoration of the Church without Israel, but you can't have one without the other.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers us for world evangelism (Acts 1:8) and world revival (Acts 2:17). Revival and evangelism produce an international community of dedicated and worshiping saints (Revelation 7:4-9). This glorious community of saints is called "The Bride". When she is ready for Yeshua's return, He will come. Revelation 19:7 – "The marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready."

This community of saints is divided into two distinct groups: one is Israeli (verse 4); the other is International (verse 9).

Revelation 7:4 – I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Revelation 7:9 – "Behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne."
We call this the "dual restoration of Israel and the Church."

The remnant of Israel and the International Church are united in one spiritual body. Yet Scriptures describe them in two identifiable groups. The Bride of Messiah is made up of two camps joined into one, like the Bride in the Song of Solomon. "What would you envision in the Shulamite? – Like the dance of the two camps" – Song of Solomon 6:13.

These two parts, Jew and Gentile, are brought into unity by becoming the "one new man" – Ephesians 2:15, and by being grafted into the same "olive tree" – Romans 11:17.

Romans 11 speaks not only of two kinds of restoration, but of two kinds of fullness - one for Israel (verse 12) and one for the Gentiles (verse 25).
Romans 11:12 – "How much more will their (Israel's) fullness be."
Romans 11: 25 – "The fullness of the Gentiles will come in."

Israel's restoration comes in two stages, first physical, then spiritual (I Corinthians 15:46). The current state of Israel is only a partial restoration, not the fullness. The spiritual part of the restoration of Israel is the messianic remnant within Israel. This remnant will continue to grow until it reaches the 144,000; and finally it will reach its fullness when "All Israel shall be saved" – Romans 11:26.

The fullness of Israel is the national revival that will soon take place. However, that revival is dependent on the intercession and witness of the international Church. It is the fullness of the Church that brings about the fullness of Israel. "Blindness has happened in part to Israel UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, and so all Israel will be saved."

If the fullness of the Church brings about the fullness of Israel, what will the fullness of Israel bring? – The resurrection of the dead. Romans 11:15 – "What will their acceptance be but life from the dead?" The resurrection of the dead takes place at the 2nd Coming of Yeshua and at the beginning of His Millennial reign.

We could summarize Yeshua's vision for Israel and the Church as: 1. Holy Spirit Baptism, 2. World Evangelism, 3. Fullness of the International Church, 4. Restoration of Israel, 5. Yeshua's Millennial Kingdom.

Heed Wilkerson's Warning

"When I was a kid, I read about David Wilkerson who took to Gospel to the gangs of New York. I even saw the movie "The Cross and the Switchblade" that was made about him. Many know about that, but most don't know what happened in his church just eight years ago.

In the fall of 2001, Pastor David Wilkerson, of Times Square Church in New York City, was warned by God that a calamity was coming. For six weeks they felt an intense burden and enormous heaviness. A critical need for intercession was so profound that Pastor Wilkerson canceled everything on the church calendar – mission's conferences, youth events and every guest speaker.

For six weeks, there wasn't a sermon. Instead, there was intercession for our nation with weeping and repentance. They knew something was coming and that something was bad. And that something was soon. So they prayed. And prayed … and prayed.

Then Wilkerson felt God telling him something that seemed rather bizarre. He felt God telling him to make sandwiches – lots of sandwiches. What were they for? Who would eat them? That part wasn't clear, but his church did what they believed God was telling them anyway.

And on the 10th of September they stayed up all night making hundreds and hundreds of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. By morning they had about 2,000 sandwiches. At 8:46 a.m. the first plane hit the World Trade Center and Times Square Church was ready to feed and minister to rescue workers and victims of our nation's worst attack.

Making sandwiches all night is a strange thing to do. If someone told me to stay up all night making sandwiches, I'd probably tell them they were crazy. But if David Wilkerson says he's heard something from God today, I think we'd be crazy not to listen.

He now says he feels the same thing he felt leading up to the attack by radical Islam. In an "URGENT MESSAGE" dated March 7, 2009

Warren Buffett has said that our economy has "fallen off a cliff." With the election of the most pro-abortion president (and Congress) in history, there's no question that we deserve God's judgment.

Just yesterday, Barack Obama signed an executive order to use children for spare parts. So much for defending the "least of these," as he so often quoted during his campaign. Cannibalizing the weak to help the strong. And by the way, don't believe everything you hear in the news – Obama didn't say he was against cloning. He said he was against "reproductive" cloning. Killing a new life after cloning one is another matter entirely: the cowardice of Obama's "Brave New World."

The bottom line is that we are economically and morally bankrupt. And it's reported that Iran now has all they need to build nukes.

So, when the guy who made the 2,000 sandwiches on Sept. 10 warns us: "AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN," I think we would do well to heed it. And follow the words Wilkerson quotes from the prophet Jeremiah and "turn back each of you from your evil way, and reform your ways and deeds."

An Urgent Message From David Wilkerson

I received this email from David Wilkerson today. God is speaking through His watchmen and prophets. Are you listening?


"I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to send out an urgent message to all on our mailing list, and to friends and to bishops we have met all over the world.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE—EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.

For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires—such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.

There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting—including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath.

In Psalm 11 it is written, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (v. 3).

God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. He is destroying the secular foundations.

The prophet Jeremiah pleaded with wicked Israel, “God is fashioning a calamity against you and devising a plan against you. Oh, turn back each of you from your evil way, and reform your ways and deeds. But they will say, It’s hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart” (Jeremiah 18:11-12).

In Psalm 11:6, David warns, “Upon the wicked he will rain snares (coals of fire)…fire…burning wind…will be the portion of their cup.” Why? David answered, “Because the Lord is righteous” (v. 7).

This is a righteous judgment—just as in the judgments of Sodom and in Noah’s generation.

WHAT SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS DO? WHAT ABOUT GOD’S PEOPLE?

First, I give you a practical word I received for my own direction. Lay in store a thirty-day supply of food, toiletries and other essentials. In major cities, grocery stores are emptied in an hour at the sign of an impending disaster.

As for our spiritual reaction, we have but two options. This is outlined in Psalm 11. We “flee like a bird to a mountain.” Or, as David says, “He fixed his eyes on the Lord on his throne in heaven—his eyes beholding, his eyelids testing the sons of men” (v. 4). “In the Lord I take refuge” (v. 1).

I will say to my soul: No need to run…no need to hide. This is God’s righteous work. I will behold our Lord on his throne, with his eye of tender, loving kindness watching over every step I take—trusting that he will deliver his people even through floods, fires, calamities, tests, trials of all kinds.

Note: I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off. I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.
