What is the Baptism of Fire?

I am led by the Holy Spirit to post this very in-depth article about "baptism of fire". Because of the times we live in and the amount of deception that is running amok in the Church maybe someone who needs to read this will see it.

When the Father drew me to His Son 2 years ago a pattern developed right away as to what my walk with the Lord would consist of. He started showing me the apostate condition of the church through dreams, direct revelation from the Holy Spirit and confirmation in the word. This was in order to understand how I was to pray to fulfill what Jesus spoke to me "Pray for my sheep without ceasing".

Let me tell you this comes with a price. When I look at the Church and the Body of Christ all I see is whats wrong. It is very draining and has put me at odds with others. This is not what I would like to do but it IS Gods will for me. He never said that as believers we would not experience trials when we serve Him. To the contrary. I will not stop what the Holy Spirit is doing in order to be popular or not to offend anyone.

Here is an example of how cunning and subtle deception is. This issue illustrates why we MUST go to the word of God to test EVERYTHING!! Do not base your beliefs, opinions, etc on what's popular or what your best friend thinks or what your Pastor says. DO NOT COMPROMISE!

The term 'baptism of fire' is one that has been taken out of context and used to hype people into a frenzy of what they believe is an Holy Spirit infusion. There are numerous ministries who have incorporated the word "fire" not only into their name but into their whole belief system and the way they minister to the people. (For example Catch The Fire Ministries / John Arnott). Is this Scriptural when taken into the proper context of the meaning of the term "baptism of fire"? I do not believe so. But you decide for yourself.

What is the Baptism of Fire?

By David Emerson Root, Jr.

The "baptism of fire" is only mentioned in two places in the Bible:
"I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." (Matthew 3:11)

"John answered them all, "I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire."" (Luke 3:16)
John the Baptist said that Jesus will baptize people with the Holy Spirit and with fire, and there are several interpretations of what this might mean:

1.Some people believe that Christians will automatically be "baptized with fire" at the same time that they are baptized with the Holy Spirit (such as the "tongues of fire" that came onto the disciples at Pentecost in Acts 2:1-4). In other words, being baptized with the Holy Spirit and with fire is essentially one act (one baptism).

2.Another interpretation is that Christians need to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit after salvation, but we also need to receive a separate "baptism of fire" which will "set us on fire" for the Lord (or for evangelism, etc.). In other words, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of fire are two separate baptisms for Christians. A similar view says that Christians will be refined by "fire," which would also mean that the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of fire are two separate baptisms for Christians.

3.A third interpretation is that Christians will be baptized with the Holy Spirit, but non-Christians will be "baptized with fire" (i.e. the "lake of fire" in Revelation 20:15). In other words, Christians will never receive the "baptism of fire."

Let's look at view #1 first. Notice that when the disciples received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost it was accompanied by "tongues of fire":
"On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."" (Acts 1:4-5)

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." (Acts 2:1-4)

One problem with view #1 is that the "tongues of fire" at Pentecost are never referred to as "the baptism of fire." In addition, there is never any mention of fire when other people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit:
"While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers [Jews] who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said, "Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have." So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ." (Acts 10:44-48)

"As I [Peter] began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning. Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?" (Acts 11:15-17)

"But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. ... When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit." (Acts 8:12-17)

"While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" They answered, "No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit." So Paul asked, "Then what baptism did you receive?" "John's baptism," they replied. Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus." On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied." (Acts 19:1-6)

"Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord--Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here--has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit." Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized" (Acts 9:17-18)

The New Testament describes the "tongues of fire" at Pentecost, but this is never referred to as the "baptism of fire." Further, in all of the other descriptions of people receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament, there is never any mention of a "baptism of fire" happening at the same time. Therefore, we have no Scriptural support for the idea that people are always baptized with fire when they are baptized with the Holy Spirit. In addition, we can't point to any Scripture passages which show that the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of fire are meant to be interpreted as a single baptism.

Now let's look at view #2. Perhaps John the Baptist meant that the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of fire are two separate and distinct baptisms for Christians. If that's the case, then it is strange that there is no record in the entire New Testament of anyone receiving both of these baptisms. The New Testament describes Christians receiving water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but it never describes any Christians receiving a separate "baptism of fire."

Some people might point out that our faith will be refined by fire, and that our earthly works will be tested in the fire:
"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire --may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." (1 Peter 1:6-7)

"If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames." (1 Corinthians 3:12-15)

While it's true that these passages describe certain kinds of "fire," notice that the above situations are never referred to as "baptisms of fire." Therefore, we can't dogmatically claim that these situations are, or are not, the "baptism of fire." If we say that the above passages are describing the "baptism of fire" then we're simply making an assumption without any Scriptural support.

The third view of the "baptism of fire" is that it refers to sinners being cast into the "lake of fire" on Judgment Day:
"If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:15)

The "lake of fire" is never referred to as the "baptism of fire" in the New Testament, but it turns out that there is Scriptural evidence which supports the idea that the "baptism of fire" refers to the fire of judgment. To see why, let's look at the context in which John the Baptist mentioned the "baptism of fire":
Matthew 3:4: "John's clothes were made of camel's hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey."
Matthew 3:5: "People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan."
Matthew 3:6: "Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River."
Matthew 3:7: "But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?"
Matthew 3:8: "Produce fruit in keeping with repentance."
Matthew 3:9: "And do not think you can say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham."
Matthew 3:10: "The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire."
Matthew 3:11: ""I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire."
Matthew 3:12: "His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

Notice what this passage says in the context of the "baptism of fire." First we see one group of people who confessed their sins, and then we see another group of people whom John referred to as a "brood of vipers," so in John's audience there were two kinds of people (righteous people and unrighteous people). With that in mind, consider the parallelism in this passage. Notice that we see righteous people and then unrighteous people (verses 6-10), followed by descriptions of a baptism for righteous people and a baptism for unrighteous people (according to view #3) (verse 11), followed by the separation of righteous people and unrighteous people (verse 12), all in the same context. Based on this consistent parallelism between righteous people and unrighteous people, the most likely meaning of "baptism of fire" is that it refers to the fire of judgment for unrighteous people.

Now let's look at the word "fire" in the above passage. John specifically pointed out that every "tree" which does not produce "fruit in keeping with repentance" will be thrown into the fire. So here we have the fire of judgment (verse 10) followed by the "baptism of fire" (verse 11) followed by the unquenchable fire of judgment (verse 12), all in the same context. Again, this parallelism argues in favor of the "baptism of fire" being the fire of judgment. Since the word "fire" is used in the sense of judgment in verses 10 and 12, the most reasonable meaning of "fire" in verse 11 is for judgment as well. It would be unreasonable to suggest that the second occurrence of the word "fire" has a different meaning than the first and third occurrences without any clear explanation from John. In fact, in verse 12 John gave us an explanation of the word "fire," and he specifically said that it is the fire of judgment.

Some people argue that if the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a blessing, and the baptism of fire is a curse, then it is strange that John the Baptist changed course in the middle of his sentence when he said, "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." However, the parallelism concerning righteous people and unrighteous people, plus the parallelism concerning the fire of judgment, demonstrates that John was not suddenly changing course in the middle of his sentence. Rather, he was simply being consistent in his use of these parallels. What would be strange is if John used the word "fire" in the sense of a curse in verse 10, and then he changed course and used the same word "fire" in the sense of a blessing in verse 11, and then he changed course again and used the same word "fire" in the sense of a curse in verse 12. This would not make sense. Therefore, if we interpret the baptism of fire as being a blessing then we are creating an inconsistency in John's use of the word "fire." This type of inconsistency in our interpretation of Scripture tends to happen when we are trying to force certain passages to fit our own preconceived ideas.

Now let's look at the "baptism of fire" in context again:
"He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire." (Matthew 3:11-12)

We can see that John the Baptist was very careful to give us the exact meaning of the "fire" that he was referring to. In this context, fire is a reference to the judgment of sinners. In fact, John used the symbolism of sinners being burned up like "chaff" (such as straw or husks of grain), and notice that this very same symbolism is used in the Old Testament, as in these examples:
"Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks, who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent. Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the LORD Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." (Isaiah 5:22-24)

""Now will I arise," says the LORD. "Now will I be exalted; now will I be lifted up. You conceive chaff, you give birth to straw; your breath is a fire that consumes you. The peoples will be burned as if to lime; like cut thornbushes they will be set ablaze." You who are far away, hear what I have done; you who are near, acknowledge my power! The sinners in Zion are terrified; trembling grips the godless: "Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?"" (Isaiah 33:10-14)

Again, John the Baptist used the word "fire" in reference to the judgment of sinners, and this view of the "baptism of fire" is supported by various Bible scholars:
"[John's] baptism is water baptism, but the Coming One "will baptize in the Holy Spirit and fire." "Life in the coming age is in the sphere of the Spirit. Spirit and fire are coupled with one preposition as a double baptism" (McNeile). Broadus takes "fire" in the sense of separation like the use of the fan." (Robertson's Word Pictures of the New Testament , emphasis added)

"And with fire. The term fire is used in verse 10, and there means a destroying agency; it is used again in verse 12 in the same sense; it is used in verse 11, also, the intervening verse, and must be used in exactly the same sense as in the other two verses. It cannot mean a curse in verses 10 and 12, and a blessing in verse 11, without a word of explanation. It is strange, therefore, that all commentators should not agree that the baptism of fire is a baptism of trial and suffering. There were two classes before John. Some would repent and be baptized finally in the Holy Spirit; there were others who would remain impenitent, and be baptized in the awful trials that would come upon Israel. The next verse explains this. John says in it that there is the wheat and the chaff; one shall be gathered into the garner and the other burned." (People's New Testament , emphasis added)

"With fire - This expression has been variously understood. Some have supposed that John refers to the afflictions and persecutions with which men would be tried under the Gospel; others, that the word "fire" means judgment or wrath. According to this latter interpretation, the meaning is that he would baptize a portion of mankind - those who were willing to be his followers - with the Holy Spirit, but the rest of mankind - the wicked - with fire; that is, with judgment and wrath. Fire is a symbol of vengeance. See Isa_5:24; Isa_61:2; Isa_66:24. If this is the meaning, as seems to be probable, then John says that the ministry of the Messiah would be far more powerful than his was. It would be more searching and testing; and they who were not suited to abide the test would be cast into eternal fire." (Barnes, from http://www.e-sword.net/commentaries.html , Matthew 3:11, emphasis added)

"he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire; referring, either to the extraordinary gifts of the Spirit, to be bestowed on the disciples on the day of Pentecost, of which the cloven tongues, like as of fire, which appeared unto them, and sat upon them, were the symbols; which was an instance of the great power and grace of Christ, and of his exaltation at the Father's right hand. Or rather, this phrase is expressive of the awful judgments which should be inflicted by him on the Jewish nation; when he by his Spirit should "reprove" them for the sin of rejecting him; and when he should appear as a "refiner's fire", and as "fuller's soap"; when "the day of the Lord" should "burn as an oven"; when he should "purge the blood of Jerusalem", his own blood, and the blood of the Apostles and Prophets shed in it, "from the midst thereof, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning"; the same with "the Holy Ghost and fire" here, or the fire of the Holy Ghost, or the holy Spirit of fire; and is the same with "the wrath to come", and with what is threatened in the context: the unfruitful trees shall be cut down, and cast into the fire", and the "chaff" shall be burnt with unquenchable fire". And as this sense best agrees with the context, it may the rather be thought to be genuine; since John is speaking not to the disciples of Christ, who were not yet called, and who only on the day of Pentecost were baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire, in the other sense of this phrase; but to the people of the Jews, some of whom had been baptized by him; and others were asking him questions, others gazing upon him, and wondering what manner of person he was; and multitudes of them continued obdurate and impenitent under his ministry, whom he threatens severely in the context. Add to all this, that the phrase of dipping or baptizing in fire seems to be used in this sense by the Jewish writers. In the Talmud (k) one puts the question, In what does he (God,) dip? You will say in water, as it is written, "who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand?" Another replies, בנורא טביל, "he dips in fire"; as it is written, "for behold the Lord will come with fire". What is the meaning of טבילותא בנורא, "baptism in fire?" He answers, according to the mind of Rabbah, the root of "dipping in the fire", is what is written; "all that abideth not the fire, ye shall make go" through the water. Dipping in the fire of the law, is a phrase used by the Jews (l). The phrases of "dipping, and washing in fire", are also used by Greek (m) authors." (Gill's Exposition of the Bible, from http://www.e-sword.net/commentaries.html , Matthew 3:11)

"The baptism "with fire" referred to the judging and cleansing of those who would enter the kingdom, as prophesied in Malachi 3. This symbolism was carried through by John who spoke of the separation that occurs when a winnowing fork tosses up grain, wheat is then gathered into the barn, and chaff is burned up. John was saying that the Messiah, when He came, would prepare a remnant (wheat) for the kingdom by empowering and cleansing the people. Those who reject Him (chaff) would be judged and cast into eternal unquenchable fire (cf. Mal. 4:1)." (The Bible Knowledge Commentary, Walvoord and Zuck, Dallas Theological Seminary, p.25)

What it boils down to is that the Scriptural evidence points to the fire of judgment as the most likely meaning of the "baptism of fire." However, we can't really be dogmatic about this because there just isn't that much information about it.

Conclusion

None of the three main views of the "baptism of fire" has overwhelming Scriptural support, but in my opinion the third view has the most evidence to back it up.

Occasionally I receive emails from people who say that they have had experiences of the Holy Spirit in which it felt like a "fire" had come upon them, or that they were "set on fire for the Lord" after having a special experience of the Holy Spirit, and they interpret this as being the "baptism of fire." I have had similar experiences myself, and they are awesome. But are these things really the baptism of fire? Since the Bible doesn't give us much evidence, we can't be dogmatic in saying that those experiences are, or are not, the baptism of fire. Consider that there is no description anywhere in the New Testament of people receiving "the baptism of fire," so we can't compare our special experiences of the Holy Spirit with any hard evidence in Scripture concerning such a baptism. We should be careful about allowing our doctrines to be dictated by our experiences, and if we say that what we were "feeling" was "the baptism of fire" then we would be making an assumption without any Scriptural support, and we would be using a label which "sounds" Biblical but which might not be accurate. Personally, I would want to be cautious about grabbing a label from Scripture and then applying that label to an experience when the Bible never applies that label to anyone's experiences in the New Testament. I would want to have stronger Scriptural support before teaching that a "special experience of the Holy Spirit" is actually the baptism of fire.

Again, the evidence that I see in Scripture points to the fire of judgment as the most likely meaning of the "baptism of fire."

I hope this has been helpful, and may the Lord abundantly bless you as you study His Word!

Recovering the Axe Head of Genuine Anointing

Is this video below Genuine Anointing??? I think NOT.
As a Christian who has experienced the true anointing and power of God this stuff makes me SICK!!!
Sara

RECOVERING the AXE-HEAD of GENUINE ANOINTING
-by J. Lee Grady

We've faked the power of Pentecost long enough. Let's set aside
the imitations and reclaim the real deal.

Shortly after Elijah was carried to heaven in his fiery chariot, a group
of young prophets asked Elisha to go with them to build new living
quarters near the Jordan River. While one of the young men was
cutting down a tree, the blade of his axe fell in the water and sank
into the murky depths of the riverbed (see 2 Kings 6:1-7).

The construction project came to an abrupt stop. This was before
the days of flashlights and sonar devices. These guys were in
trouble.

Knowing that his friends could not replace this expensive iron tool
they had borrowed, the young prophet cried to his mentor Elisha
for help. The wise prophet threw a stick in the water where the
axe head had sunk. Immediately the heavy iron blade floated to
the surface—defying the laws of physics and proving that nothing
is impossible with God. Elisha's faith saved the day.

We can gain so much comfort from this story. It reminds us that
God has power over the natural world. It also proves that He cares
about the seemingly trivial details of our lives—and that He is
even willing to bail us out of the messes we make.

As I have meditated on this passage in recent days I've also
applied it to our current situation in the American church. It
illustrates how desperately we need to recover what we've lost.

Perhaps you've noticed that our blade is missing. I don't know
exactly when it fell off the handle, but it seems as if we've been
trying to build God's house without the sharp edge of His genuine
anointing. We've traded the real for the phony. We've cheapened
Pentecost to the point that it's been reduced to dry religious
programs and circus sideshow antics.

We've mastered the art of hype. We know how to fake the
anointing. We push people to the floor during our altar times. We
know how to manipulate music and crowds so that we can create
the atmosphere of the anointing. But in so many cases the real
anointing isn't there. In its place is a hollow imitation.

Some charismatic leaders today are even selling specially
handcrafted oils that promise the Holy Spirit's power. Others sell
scented candles that claim to bring God's presence. And last year
one brother was traveling the country with feathers in a jar—
claiming that these belonged to an angel with healing powers.

Lord, forgive us for our charlatanism. We need the blade back! We
must cry out to the God Who has the power to raise iron from the
bottom of a river.

We are not going to advance Christ's kingdom, or build His
victorious church, using scented oils, fake charms, ear-tickling
prophecies and goofy charismatic gimmicks. This is all wood,
hay and stubble destined for the furnace. What we need today
is the sharp blade of the Word that is empowered by the Holy
Ghost and fire.

In my world travels during the past few years I have met humble
Christians who carry the genuine anointing of the Spirit. I've spent
time with Chinese believers who see miracles inside their prison
cells. I've met an Indian evangelist who has seen six people raised
from the dead. I've met a Pakistani apostle who regularly sees
Muslims healed during outdoor gospel meetings.

Last week I interviewed an Iranian church leader whose ministry
is leading 5,000 Iranians to faith in Christ every month. In the
midst of persecution and political upheaval, a New Testament—
style revival is erupting in that Shiite Muslim stronghold-all because
the church in Iran is weilding the axe head of genuine Holy Spirit
anointing.

Where is the God of Elisha? There is a cry in the American church
today that resembles the cry of the desperate young prophet in
2 Kings 6. We have not been good stewards of the Holy Spirit's
gifts, and now the precious power of God has eluded us. We
dropped it. Yet we are beginning to acknowledge our blunder.

Let's fully humble ourselves. Let's repent of fakery and fraud. Let's
ditch our counterfeits and our cheap substitutes, and ask the Lord
to restore the axe blade. Let's cry to Him for a pure, unadulterated,
genuine, life-changing, planet-shaking revival.

Impartation and Discernment

The article below is written by Andrew Strom of Revival School. He shines some light on God's divine impartation from the Holy Spirit.

I believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are something we should expect and seek. But in these days of "revival" breaking out here and "revival" breaking out there, I tend to be skeptical at first whether something is from God. The key is HOLINESS and REVERENCE!

I was attending a church for several months that I really liked but I started to get a sense that something was not quite right. It is a small church and there is an anointing there. (A mixture? I don't know). I think some of the people had gone to the so called “revival” in Florida and at the least they supported it and thought it is real. The church website also has a bunch of links to the websites of people like Rick Joyner and Peter Wagner of the NAR “movement”. Big red flags came up!

Then one Sunday the worship leader jumped into the center aisle and started shaking all over and said that God was sending a river of gold from His throne and down through the center aisle and if we would just get into it he would release some sort of blessing on us.

My very first thought was the verse from Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Did you read that? Clear as crystal, not of gold!

THAT WAS IT! I have not been back since. Can you see how knowing the word of God is so important? It is our plumb line!

So you see this type of false signs and wonders and hyped up emotionalism is wide spread and has INFECTED the charismatic churches.

I know that many of you can relate to this kind of paranoia that I am experiencing after the way things turned out for the first go round of the so called Todd Bentley revival in Lakeland, Florida.

Many people have suffered from the demon spirits that were released. Please realize the fallout from that showed the true "fruit", as Todd was carrying on an adulterous affair during the whole thing. As we know the Bible instructs us that we will "know them by their fruit."

On the other hand I don't want to write something off if in fact it is from God. So we must test the spirits and of course good discernment is something that we must pray for continually. Especially since many false signs and wonders are prophesied and are in fact manifesting for these last days.
This article is very helpful. God's divine impartation to His people is special but it must be scriptural. Bible scripture should be our plumb line in all things! We must study the scriptural foundations pertaining to manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

WHAT About FALLING DOWN??
-by Andrew Strom.

After reading what we have published regarding the dangers of
Kundalini, etc, a lot of people may be wondering what is "OK" -
what is really from the Holy Spirit?

Does the Holy Spirit sometimes cause people to "fall down" under
the power of God? Yes - sometimes He does. But He does not
need to make some big "show" about it. And neither does He
need men to "push" people over, either. There are counterfeits for
everything.

What about the gifts of the Holy Spirit - like tongues, prophecy,
healings, discernment and the casting out of demons, etc? Yes -
I believe very strongly in ALL the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They are
right the way through the New Testament. But the key is this
word "Holy." The real gifts of God have a holiness and purity
about them. You can sense this. Counterfeits tends to have
a "weirdness" or ugliness about them.

Let me give you an example. I received the following account from
a preacher in England several years ago: "There were about 20
fellow ministers all gathered together in one large room at a local
minister's house. We were introduced to the special guest... The
next 3 hours were the weirdest three hours I have ever had to
endure. We started listening to [her] testimony which seemed
very powerful, next she spoke of the times that she meets with
the Angel Gabriel and other spiritual beings, next we moved on
to portals between this world and the next and then finally to
how she was going to open up a portal to Heaven in the room
that we were all in. Now things started to happen, really crazy
things and strange noises... As [she] moved around the room
ministering to individual people they were crashing to the ground,
bouncing up and down, running around as if on fire and making
all sorts of sounds. When she came to me she had no prophetic
words for me and nothing happened to me so she just moved on.
My Vineyard friend was the first to crash to the floor. Since that
day his church has taken on a different guise, it is not the same
church any more."

Please notice that the PREACHING was different from true Biblical
preaching - and the SPIRIT that the lady was ministering in did not
seem like the pure Holy Spirit. Can you tell the difference?

We need to watch out for preachers who bring unbiblical or "New
Age"-sounding terms into their preaching - or who talk about
"angels" all the time. Can people have true encounters with real
angels? Yes - but always these beings that come from the
presence of a Holy God carry His "holiness" with them. Angels
in the Bible always carried this weighty presence of a Holy God.
There is too much weirdness, ugliness and silliness in a lot of
Christian meetings today. And I believe a lot of these encounters
are not real angels at all.

So should we go forward with prayer needs for healing, etc?
Absolutely! -If the preaching is sound and biblical and they are
not putting on some big "show." As long as the preacher has not
gotten some weird "impartation" from one of these strange "revival"
meetings then they are probably fine. In fact, I am all for the real
power of God being demonstrated in the earth! I wish we were
seeing a lot MORE true healings and deliverances and miracles -
not less! Jesus said, "These things will you do - and greater things
than these"! (Jn 14:12).

Just think about the Book of Acts for a moment. Not only are there
healings and miracles and demons being cast out right through
the whole book, but there are also occasionally angels appearing
with instructions from the Lord, and an abundance of dreams,
visions and prophecies, etc. So we see that God is definitely a
SUPERNATURAL GOD. He does do "unusual" things. Angelic
visitations DO HAPPEN. Prophetic signs DO OCCUR. But please
notice that all of these things have a certain holy "character" about
them. And that is the key right there. They have a holy character,
because they come from a holy God.

I believe in a true Revival that has the piercing "word" of a John
the Baptist or a Jonathan Edwards or a Charles Finney - accompanied
by the most powerful MIRACLES that anyone has ever seen.
I believe in a Revival like that - the "word and Spirit joined." True,
piercing 'holiness' preaching with real signs and miracles following.
There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it is what the Book of
Acts shows us again and again. Bring it on, Lord!

So please be discerning - but don't be afraid of the real super-
natural power of God. Without it, we simply cannot reach this
lost and dying world in the way that God has called us to. The
devil wants us to be so afraid of the "counterfeit" that we run right
over to the other extreme - where we don't want God's power or
anything "unusual" at all. This is just as big a trap as the
"Charismania" excesses on the other side. The devil loves to
push us to extremes - either hyper-Charismania or dead orthodoxy.
I believe in a powerful balance right in the middle - the "word and
the Spirit" joined. That is where real Revival is to be found. Don't
let the devil rob you by pushing you to either extreme, my friends.

God bless you all!

The Elephants Have Become Christians!

This is an amazing story and our God is an amazing God! Please forward this to everyone you know to demonstrate to them who is really in control! I compiled the story from the links below.

In Christ, Sara

One of the 700 homes destroyed by the elephants.

Elephants Attack in Orissa Exactly One Year After Persecutions

by Fr. Sunil De Silva - 09.12.2009

In July 2008 a severe persecution of Christians broke out in the Indian state of Orissa. A 22 year old nun was burnt to death when angry mobs burnt down an orphanage in Khuntpali village in Barhgarh district, another nun was gang raped in Kandhamal, mobs attacked churches, torched vehicles, houses of Christians destroyed, and Fr. Thomas Chellen, director of the pastoral center that was destroyed with a bomb, had a narrow escape after a Hindu mob nearly set him on fire. The end result saw more than 500 Christians murdered, and thousands of others injured and homeless after their houses were reduced to ashes. Recently a strange and dramatic event took place in Orissa, which has many people talking and wondering.

In recent months, herds of wild elephants have begun to storm villages that are home to some of the worst persecutors of Christians during the troubles. In one village, where in August a year ago the Christians had to run for their lives while their homes were being destroyed by rioters, a herd of elephants emerged from the surrounding jungle exactly one year later, in July 2009, at the same time of the day of the attack.

These elephants first attacked a rock crusher machine owned by a key leader of the persecution movement. They then went on to destroy his house and farms.
Hundreds of villagers have been forced to take shelter in camps in the Indian state of Orissa after repeated attacks by a herd of elephants.

Seven people have been killed and several others injured in attacks by a herd of 12-13 elephants over the past few weeks in Kandhamal district.

Over 2,500 people living in 45 villages have been affected by the attacks, district chief Krishen Kumar said.

It is, however, unclear why this herd of elephants migrated from the Lakheri sanctuary in a neighbouring district. He said the herd had travelled some 300km into Kandhamal, and even entered a town in the district. Wildlife officials were camping at the site of the attacks and trying to find out why the elephants had come out of their sanctuary. The villagers say elephants attack their areas in herds, causing heavy destruction.

Gaining momentum, they rampaged through other non-Christian homes, demolishing gardens and singling out the home of persecutors, leaving Christian homes untouched.

These strange attacks have spread, and according to a report, the elephants have already destroyed more than 700 houses in 30 villages, and killed five people. Nobody in this area has seen or even imagined the unique appearance of a herd of wild elephants such as this. The elephants are not ordinary elephants; they appear to be on a mission.
Typically, smaller elephants enter a village first, appearing to survey the community. They then rejoin the larger herd, and larger elephant soon follow and get the job done.

The ministry partner in India stated “We think that it might have something to do with the avenging the blood of martyrs. In fact the fear of God has fallen on the local people, who have labeled these elephants “Christian elephants.”

With little help coming from the administration, the villagers have taken to road blockades. "The elephants have destroyed crops and selected houses. But officials too express helplessness. "There is no permanent habitat of elephants in Sundargarh. They come from Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand where their habitats have shrunk. But is not clear how and why these elephants reached Orissa.

"The Elephants Have Become Christians!"
by David Warnock
The Hindu villagers ran for their lives. Wild elephants, on a rampage, were storming into their community. Later, when the villagers felt it was safe to return from the forest’s fringe, they stood in shock. Their houses had been completely, apparently methodically, destroyed. Perhaps it was no coincidence. One year ago-to the very day-these same Hindus had methodically destroyed the homes of nearby Christians. The word quickly spread: “The elephants have become Christians!”

It was in the latter part of 2008 when radical Hindu mobs went on rampages against Christians in India’s Orissa state. Their goal was to eradicate Christianity from all of India, starting with Orissa. The violence and persecution was widespread and severe.

Orissa refugees, praying for help, and a simple new home under construction

One of the hardest hit districts was Kandhamal-attacked on August 23, 2008-a key date to remember. Eighty-six Christians were martyred, and an untold number of women were raped. About 5,200 Christian homes were destroyed. Almost three-hundred churches and Christian organizations were ransacked as believers ran for their lives into the dense forest. Fifty-thousand were made homeless in Kandhamal alone, though five other districts experienced the same persecution.

Exactly one year after the Kandhamal nightmare, the Hindu fanatics who persecuted the Body of Christ faced tribulation of their own. On August 23, 2009, fifteen elephants made an uncommon visit to the district and displayed some uncommon behavior. As if they were vehicles of God’s vengeance, the elephants used their huge bodies to bulldoze and trample house after house. Seven-hundred houses were destroyed before the massive animals withdrew to the wilderness. Astonishingly, about six-hundred and fifty of those homes belonged to the Hindu radicals who took part in the rampage against believers one year earlier. It is no surprise that many people believed that the elephants had become Christian.

Does God Hate Haiti?

For the most part I agree with what Mr. Mohler is saying here. The earthquake in Haiti has humbled me and stirred up compassion to cry out to God on behalf of these desperate people and their nation. But we can know the fingerprint of God, and I firmly believe that a 7.0 eathquake has His fingerprints all over it. But we must remain humble because America is not immune!
Sara

Does God Hate Haiti?
by Albert Mohler

The images streaming in from Haiti look like scenes from Dante's Inferno. The scale of the calamity is unprecedented. In many ways, Haiti has almost ceased to exist.

The earthquake that will forever change that nation came as subterranean plates shifted about six miles under the surface of the earth, along a fault line that had threatened trouble for centuries. But no one saw a quake of this magnitude coming. The 7.0 quake came like a nightmare, with the city of Port-au-Prince crumbling, entire villages collapsing, bodies flying in the air and crushed under mountains of debris. Orphanages, churches, markets, homes, and government buildings all collapsed. Civil government has virtually ceased to function. Without power, communication has been cut off and rescue efforts are seriously hampered. Bodies are piling up, hope is running out, and help, though on the way, will not arrive in time for many victims.

Even as boots are finally hitting the ground and relief efforts are reaching the island, estimates of the death toll range as high as 500,000. Given the mountainous terrain and densely populated villages that had been hanging along the fault line, entire villages may have disappeared. The Western Hemisphere's most impoverished nation has experienced a catastrophe that appears almost apocalyptic.

In truth, it is hard not to describe the earthquake as a disaster of biblical proportions. It certainly looks as if the wrath of God has fallen upon the Caribbean nation. Add to this the fact that Haiti is well known for its history of religious syncretism -- mixing elements of various faiths, including occult practices. The nation is known for voodoo, sorcery, and a Catholic tradition that has been greatly influenced by the occult.

Haiti's history is a catalog of political disasters, one after the other. In one account of the nation's fight for independence from the French in the late 18th century, representatives of the nation are said to have made a pact with the Devil to throw off the French. According to this account, the Haitians considered the French as Catholics and wanted to side with whomever would oppose the French. Thus, some would use that tradition to explain all that has marked the tragedy of Haitian history -- including now the earthquake of January 12, 2010.

Does God hate Haiti? That is the conclusion reached by many, who point to the earthquake as a sign of God's direct and observable judgment.

God does judge the nations -- all of them -- and God will judge the nations. His judgment is perfect and his justice is sure. He rules over all the nations and his sovereign will is demonstrated in the rising and falling of nations and empires and peoples. Every molecule of matter obeys his command, and the earthquakes reveal his reign -- as do the tides of relief and assistance flowing into Haiti right now.

A faithful Christian cannot accept the claim that God is a bystander in world events. The Bible clearly claims the sovereign rule of God over all his creation, all of the time. We have no right to claim that God was surprised by the earthquake in Haiti, or to allow that God could not have prevented it from happening.

God's rule over creation involves both direct and indirect acts, but his rule is constant. The universe, even after the consequences of the Fall, still demonstrates the character of God in all its dimensions, objects, and occurrences. And yet, we have no right to claim that we know why a disaster like the earthquake in Haiti happened at just that place and at just that moment.

The arrogance of human presumption is a real and present danger. We can trace the effects of a drunk driver to a car accident, but we cannot trace the effects of voodoo to an earthquake -- at least not so directly. Will God judge Haiti for its spiritual darkness? Of course. Is the judgment of God something we can claim to understand in this sense -- in the present? No, we are not given that knowledge. Jesus himself warned his disciples against this kind of presumption.

Why did no earthquake shake Nazi Germany? Why did no tsunami swallow up the killing fields of Cambodia? Why did Hurricane Katrina destroy far more evangelical churches than casinos? Why do so many murderous dictators live to old age while many missionaries die young?

Does God hate Haiti? God hates sin, and will punish both individual sinners and nations. But that means that every individual and every nation will be found guilty when measured by the standard of God's perfect righteousness. God does hate sin, but if God merely hated Haiti, there would be no missionaries there; there would be no aid streaming to the nation; there would be no rescue efforts -- there would be no hope.

The earthquake in Haiti, like every other earthly disaster, reminds us that creation groans under the weight of sin and the judgment of God. This is true for every cell in our bodies, even as it is for the crust of the earth at every point on the globe. The entire cosmos awaits the revelation of the glory of the coming Lord. Creation cries out for the hope of the New Creation.

In other words, the earthquake reminds us that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only real message of hope. The cross of Christ declares that Jesus loves Haiti -- and the Haitian people are the objects of his love. Christ would have us show the Haitian nation his love, and share his Gospel. In the midst of this unspeakable tragedy, Christ would have us rush to aid the suffering people of Haiti, and rush to tell the Haitian people of his love, his cross, and salvation in his name alone.

Everything about the tragedy in Haiti points to our need for redemption. This tragedy may lead to a new openness to the Gospel among the Haitian people. That will be to the glory of God. In the meantime, Christ's people must do everything we can to alleviate the suffering, bind up the wounded, and comfort the grieving. If Christ's people are called to do this, how can we say that God hates Haiti?

If you have any doubts about this, take your Bible and turn to John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. That is God's message to Haiti.

The History of Haiti - Voodoo and the Church

(Please note this article is from 2004 and the current president of Haiti is René Préval who took office in 2006. In addition, 3 of the links below that are references for the original article are no longer valid.)

HAITI: BOUKMAN, ARISTIDE, VOODOO & THE CHURCH

by Elizabeth Kendal

Over the past decade there has been a marked rise in the use of religious nationalism as a political tool. Religious nationalism embodies a rejection of colonialism and the present trend towards the globalisation of culture (global Westernisation). So it is not uncommon these days for a political party or individual aiming to take power or struggling to hold on to power, to use religious nationalism to gain popular support and dragnet the vote of the majority religion.

This has been the case with Hindu nationalism in India and Buddhist nationalism in Sri Lanka. It was inevitable that eventually African Traditional Religions such as voodoo would be promoted politically in the same way. In this regard, Haiti (in the Caribbean) is most certainly the nation to watch.

BOUKMAN AND OTHER RELEVANT HISTORY

As with all nationalism, some knowledge of history is crucial for understanding the present situation. "Hayti" (or mountainous land, as it was known by the original inhabitants, the Arawak Indians), was discovered by Christopher Columbus and named "Hispaniola"(Little Spain) in 1492. The Spanish colonised the island and under their rule the Arawak Indians were virtually annihilated. In 1697 the western portion of the island was ceded to France and named Haiti. (The eastern portion under Spanish rule became Saint-Domingue, now Dominican Republic.)

Haiti flourished under French rule and became invaluable as a resource for cocoa, cotton, sugar cane and coffee. By 1780, Haiti was one of the wealthiest regions in the world. The plantation system was however built upon the backs of vast numbers of slaves imported from West Africa.

Several consequences of this era provide the foundations for the present situation. * Firstly - the West African slaves brought with them the religious practices of voodoo. * Secondly - the French colonial masters treated the slaves with such undue harshness they created hatred amid an already resentful environment. * Thirdly - a class of "mulattos" (light skinned, sophisticated, Catholic, French-speaking Haitians) arose from the relations of the slave owners and the slaves. They were at odds with the dark-skinned, voodoo practising, Creole-speaking masses.

On 14 August 1791, a black slave and witch doctor named Boukman led the slaves in a voodoo ritual. They sacrificed a pig and drank its blood to form a pact with the devil, whereby they agreed to serve the spirits of the island for 200 years in exchange for freedom from the French. The slave rebellion commenced on 22 August 1791, and after 13 years of conflict, the slaves won their independence. On 1 January 1804 they declared Haiti the world's first independent black republic. An iron statue of a pig stands in Port-au-Prince to commemorate the "Boukman Contract".
Since independence, Haiti has been in a continual state of political struggle and wracked with poverty.

PRESIDENT ARISTIDE, VOODOO & THE CHURCH

Haiti's current president, Jean-Bertrand Aristide, is a former Catholic priest who gained notoriety with the Catholic Church and popularity in Haiti in the late 1980s on account of his liberation theology.

Aristide was elected president in 1990, ousted in a coup in 1991, and re-elected as president in Nov 2000 (results disputed). He survived coup attempts in July and December 2001. November 2002 was marked by unrest and anti-government protests. The next elections are scheduled for later this year.
In light of the historic and political facts it is therefore very interesting that in April 2003, President Aristide made voodoo an official religion in Haiti declaring, "voodoo is an essential part of national identity."
Haiti is reckoned as being 95% Christian (predominantly Catholic), but according to Catholic missionary John Hoet, Haitians "are 100% voodoo".

It is primarily the growing evangelical Christian Church in Haiti that is opposed to voodoo, actively working to bring people out of it and to help them find reconciliation with God and peace and strength through the Holy Spirit. (Link 5)
Christian Aid's 'Mission Insider' reported on 14 August 2003, "While some witch doctors want to renew the 200-year commitment to Voodoo, Christians are spear-heading a year-long prayer movement to 'take Haiti back from Satan', according to the HAVIDEC website. HAVIDEC (from the Creole for Haiti Vision for the Third Century) is 'a concerted effort of all the major churches, denominations, and Protestant organizations in Haiti to bring about a spiritual deliverance for Haiti on the occasion of the celebration of our country's 200 years of independence (1 January 2004)'."

ALARM BELLS

Several analysts have already surmised that Aristide's official recognition of voodoo is a political move to shore up popular support before the elections.
Los Angeles Times reporter Carol J. Williams found evidence to support that theory when she interviewed people in Haiti recently. (Link 3)

"Aristide is the only president in our history who has done something for us," said one voodoo practitioner. "We will stay with him forever and perform every ceremony necessary to keep him in power. We will not negotiate with any country on this, no matter how much pressure they put on us. We will eat rocks if we have to, as long as we can keep him in power."

Williams says, "Legitimising voodoo has strengthened Aristide's image as a man of the people and probably has enhanced popular support for the rumoured bid by the former Roman Catholic priest to amend the constitution so he can seek a now-prohibited third term as president.
"By bestowing legitimacy on the African-origin religion, Aristide, the beleaguered president of this poorest of Western countries, has signalled to his people that they should be proud of their African heritage, not forced to subvert it under the religious practices of the European Christians who once repressed them."
There is concern that the promotion of voodoo as "an essential part of national identity", could signal danger for evangelical Christians. Williams quotes one Haitian as saying, "Voodoo has done everything for Haiti. It gave us our independence, while the imported religions held us by the throat."
Christian Aid reported recently (14 August), "One ministry spokesman in northern Haiti said five of its pastors had been murdered recently. He blamed it on the strong influence of Voodoo in the area. No other details were available." This report, from a highly trusted and reliable source, is being further investigated.

Kundalini Warning- Urgent

I am posting this warning because I know that God has allowed this false anointing to come back again to test His people. Read 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. This is the scripture that goes with this.

USE YOUR DISCERNMENT!!! I believe in all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit but at best what is happening there is a mixture.

In Christ, Sara

KUNDALINI WARNING - Urgent
-by Andrew Strom.

I just saw the video of Rick Joyner announcing that Todd Bentley
is back ministering every night at Morningstar in North Carolina
and now they have so-called "revival" manifestations eerily similar
to Lakeland. They also announced that they are streaming these
big meetings every night on their new TV channel - and they are
greatly promoting the whole thing.

Now I am a tongues-speaking Pentecostal myself - but can I ask
a simple question here please? What kind of "spirit" was it
operating in the Lakeland revival - when the leader and main focal-
point of the meetings (Todd Bentley) was having an adulterous
affair behind the scenes? Was it truly the "Holy" Spirit that was
anointing something so sensual and unholy? And now that Todd
divorced his wife and married his mistress - are we supposed to
welcome him back and this "anointing" with him? What is going
on here? Rick Joyner has been warned very specifically by high-
level ministries not to do what he is doing now - bringing Todd
Bentley back into the limelight. And yet it seems he does not
care. Apparently the "manifestations" are all that matter.

So what exactly are these 'manifestations' if they are seemingly
at home in such an unholy environment? Are they from God at
all? (I am talking here about the violent "jerking", uncontrollable
laughter, bodily contortions, drunkenness, 'portals', strange "angel"
encounters, etc.) Why do we not see such an 'anointing' in the
Bible? Why aren't Jesus or the apostles promoting these
manifestations if they really are true Revival? Why instead do we
see these things all the way through the New Age and Hinduism,
etc? Do we not realize that many false religions have their own
version of "laying on of hands" that results in these very types of
manifestations? This 'spirit' is not in the Bible - but it is all the
way through Kundalini-type Hinduism! Don't you think this should
alarm us?

WHAT is KUNDALINI?

If you search for Kundalini and Shakti on the Internet, you will find
that multitudes of people in the New Age and Eastern religions
still experience these powerful manifestations. Often this is with
the help of a Guru, who touches them on the forehead so that
they can experience a "Kundalini Awakening".

As researcher Robert Walker wrote in 1995:
"The meetings which mystic Hindu gurus hold are called 'Darshan'.
At these meetings devotees go forward to receive spiritual experience
from a touch by the open palm of the hand, often to the forehead,
by the guru in what is known as the Shakti Pat or divine touch.
The raising of the spiritual experience is called raising Kundalini…
After a period when the devotee has reached a certain spiritual
elevation they begin to shake, jerk, or hop or squirm uncontrollably,
sometimes breaking into uncontrolled animal noises or laughter
as they reach an ecstatic high. These manifestations are called
'Kriyas'. Devotees sometimes roar like lions and show all kinds
of physical signs during this period. Often devotees move on to
higher states of spiritual consciousness and become inert
physically and appear to slip into an unconsciousness..."

And as the guru Shri Yogãnandji Mahãrãja wrote:
"When Your body begins trembling, hair stands on roots, you laugh
or begin to weep without your wishing, your tongue begins to utter
deformed sounds, you are filled with fear or see frightening visions…
the Kundalini Shakti has become active."

In China there is a popular Kundalini-type movement called 'Qigong'.
When a Chinese Qigong spiritual master spoke in the USA in
1991, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that many in the crowd
began to experience "spontaneous movements". The master told
his audience, "Those who are sensitive might start having some
strong physical sensations - or start laughing or crying. Don't worry.
This is quite normal."

When you see videos of these "kriyas" or other Kundalini-type
manifestations, you would often swear that you are watching a
modern "Impartation"-type church meeting. (And I say this as
someone who believes strongly in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I just
don't believe in "alien" anointings infiltrating the Body of Christ!
There is a big difference between Kundalini and the real Holy Spirit).

Since 1993-4, I believe a foreign spirit has been allowed to invade
the church - first through Rodney Howard-Browne's ministry - then
Toronto, then the Prophetic movement (which I was part of at the
time) and on into Lakeland and many other ministries and
movements. I urge people now to "test the spirits" just as we are
commanded to in Scripture. Do not let just anyone lay hands on
you. This is a powerful spirit and it has the backing of a lot of
big-name ministries. In fact, these men and women are the very
ones responsible for allowing it to spread right through the body
of Christ. And one day they will be answerable to God for doing so.

We are specifically warned in the Bible that the Last Days will be
a time of "seducing spirits," false prophets, 'lying signs and
wonders,' and that we always need to watch for "angels of light"
masquerading as the real thing. Why does the modern church
not take these warnings seriously? Aren't we living in the very
days that the Bible warns about?

Right now I need to do something that I have never done in such
a way before. I have never before published a list of ministries or
movements to watch out for. But this time I have to. This sickness
has gone on long enough. I urge you to cut yourself off from
the following ministries and their tainted "anointings" my friends.
Even though some of these people say "good things" at times, it
is simply not worth having any involvement with them due to the
tainted anointing that they endorse or minister in themselves. Here
is the list-

(1) Todd Bentley.
(2) Rodney Howard Browne - the so-called "Holy Ghost Bartender."
(2) Rick Joyner or anyone connected with Morningstar Ministries.
(3) John Arnott & any connected with TACF (The "Toronto Blessing").
(4) Peter Wagner of the 'New Apostolic Reformation' who claims
to be head of a worldwide network of 'apostles' - who publicly
endorsed Lakeland and will soon preach at Toronto TACF alongside
other "false anointing" advocates.
(5) Mike Bickle and IHOP Kansas City (-I lived nearby for over
two years - and know how much they are into all this stuff. Mike
Bickle promotes it in his book).
(6) Bob Jones - the Kansas City prophet whose ministry is utterly
tainted by it all.
(7) Patricia King and anyone else from 'Extreme Prophetic.'
(8) John Crowder & anyone connected with "Sloshfest."
(9) Bill Johnson of Bethel church, Redding - who says some good
things but publicly endorsed Lakeland and promotes the "false
anointing" very strongly behind the scenes.
(10) Heidi & Rolland Baker of IRIS Ministries - who do good work
amongst the poor in Mozambique - but who have also carried
and promoted this tainted anointing for years.
(11) Randy Clark, Wes & Stacey Campbell, and other key
figures from the "Toronto blessing."
(12) The Elijah List - and almost anyone featured on it.

Of course there are a huge number of lesser-known preachers
and ministries who carry or endorse this Kundalini-type "anointing"
around the world. But I have concentrated here on the most
influential that I know of. It really is an enormous issue in the
church. I urge anyone who is a supporter of any of the above
ministries to really check them out thoroughly. If you find (as I have)
that they carry or endorse this false Kundalini spirit in the church,
then please stop supporting them in any way - and whatever you
do, don't let them "lay hands" on you!

I am putting everything on the line to be "naming names" like this.
But I believe it is that serious. How on earth did we get to the point
where "kriyas" just like Hinduism are spreading through the church?

Please forward this email to everyone you know, blogs and boards,
etc. These people are trying to "relaunch" this whole thing right
now. Help us get this warning out. To see a video showing "kriyas"
and other Kundalini-type manifestations, please click on the

I went to Lakeland 3 times. I was so drawn to go there. I really

to seeing a mystical Jesus with a third eye, angels talking to me,
visions, being transported. I had one experience with my daughter
being in the room and her experiencing it too. I was roaring like a
lion, had gold dust and many other experiences. The worst thing
that happened to me is that it got sexual. This false Jesus was
approaching me sexually and I fell into it. I still to this day do
not understand how I could have been so decieved. I have been
a Christian since the age of 16. I am 49 now... I fell right in... hook,
line and sinker. When I came home that last viist I became aware
it was demonic, and I was surrounded and covered with demons
literally, it was so horrible, all that I went through, you cannot
imagine... I was seeing demons and being touched sexually and
tormentingly constantly.. it has been 1 1/2 years and I am still
battling these demonic spirits. I cry out to the Lord everyday for
total deliverance. It has been horrible. I have renounced and
repented, but still fighting. How do we get free of this?

SHERIE writes:
I can testify that I was infested with this foul eastern spirit, the
kundalini. I was in a movement from 1992 - 2000 which had close
links with the Toronto movement. From 2000 - 2006 I joined a
church with links to Bill Johnson.
I was desperate for God to move in my life and change situations
and heal hurts and was very open to ministry - I had many in this
movement touch my forehead and experienced the manifestations
you describe - drunkenness, laughing and crying, shaking. I got
dreams and visions and just before I left the structure (church) I
had a vivid dream of a huge python that came through the back
door and attached itself to my car, and also to rooms in my home.
I was very disturbed and sought the Lord for an answer.

It took about 6 months before I was delivered, but God brought a
couple over my path who God had trained and had victory over
spiritual entities. Every time I was in their presence, I would get
very anxious, and they would calmly pray for me and I could feel
darkness leaving and my sanity restored. It was only after 6 months
of these episodes, I was again in their presence and sensed a fight
ensue in the Spirit. I was very anxious and fearful and could feel
a huge snake in my spine - I was rigid and very uncomfortable - It
felt as if this thing wanted to throttle me and rob me of my life. I
called out to God and they quietly prayed - then I asked the Lady
to pull this serpent out of my head - it felt as if it could exit near
the top of my crown. She continued to pray and I got the word
"kundalini " in my spirit and just commanded this thing by its
name to go in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I pled the blood
as it was very frightening, and it left. I felt like a washed out rag,
but I was free!

That was the last lime I had deliverance and my spiritual eyes have
since opened and God has done a mighty work in me outside of
the structure... Afterwards they were amazed and asked me what
strange term I had used and where it came from - I had no idea
except that it was God who gave me knowledge in that situation.
Thank you for the info that has made everything clear to me!I Now
have confirmation from where I was infected! May many of your
readers heed the call of God to "come out and sever yourselves"
from Babylon and its lies and deception and foul spirits, while
there is time...

LUCY writes:
David Wilkerson also mentioned the kundalini spirit, and I
researched it in late October, after having attended the Fredericks-
burg (Virginia) Prayer Furnace at which Che Ahn ministered.
There, I saw many of the manifestations you mention: hopping
and jumping during "worship", falling backward at Che Ahn's touch,
extreme jerkiness in several cases. Very uncomfortable with this,
I came home and watched (my first time ever) videos of Todd
Bentley. Needless to say, I was appalled...

SARAH writes:
I'm just about in tears over all of this...
May and I watched the very first nights of the recent "outpouring
of the Holy Spirit" on the IHOP webstream and boy, did that turn
sour fast. Aside from the singing on the first night, everything was
just messed up. AHH! It's breaking my heart! How many people
do we know and love in KC?!
I've watched my beloved siblings laugh uncontrollably, jerk as
though sick, stumble and speak as though drunk, and "sing in
tongues" in complete chaos and without interpretation. I've raised
the issue among friends of being "drunk in the Spirit" and even
though I prove over and over that God is for self-control, which they
agree with, they continue to act like drunken fools! (See Titus 1:8
and 2:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:6-7 which compared in the NKJV and
NIV relates self-control with being sober, pointing to the fact that
the Holy Spirit is not one who takes delight in being drunk at all,
but in being sober-minded - fruit of the Spirit, what? Drunkenness
is the complete opposite of being filled with the Holy Spirit! For
sober-mindedness is a filling of Him!; 1 Peter 1:13, 4:7, and 5:8 ...

BRENDA writes:
A very dear friend of mine who has been my prayer partner for
years were lured into the enemy's web of deception about many
of the ministries and manifestations that you spoke about. After
reading and listening to your web broadcasts we had a powerful
prayer session repenting, renouncing, and commanding any spirit
that we had picked up from these false prophets/doctrines of
demons, etc. to go from us in Jesus' name. We broke all kinds
of things off of us. Most of it was deep repentance and renouncing -
thank you for exposing the enemy and his tactics and all the
deception that the church body has fallen deeply into...

ANDREW STROM: Yes - if you have had "hands laid" or done
"soaking prayer" under any of these kinds of ministries, it is very
important to RENOUNCE (from the very depths of your being in
Jesus' name) and also COMMAND OUT these 'kundalini' spirits
or any other "anointing" that you have received. Remember, you
must VIOLENTLY EXPEL these things in the name of JESUS.
Be FREE in His mighty name!

I truly wonder what God is going to do to those ministries who
have been spreading this alien spirit right through the Body of
Christ. Truly, Judgment must begin "at the house of God."

Blessings to all,

Andrew Strom.

An Unstoppable Juncture

I believe that the devastating earthquake in Haiti is a sign of things to come. That country has suffered an unbelievable amount of catastrophe in the last several years. But lets look at something square in the face. In 2003 the government of Haiti declared an official recognition that the "religion" of voodoo is on par with Christianity and made it the official religion of Haiti.

I believe this was the beginning of the end for Haiti.

I sense the Spirit of the Lord telling me to be prepared for some very troubling times ahead. This earthquake along with the smaller ones in California this week are warnings from God. A 7.0 magnitude is not a number of coincidence.

I feel a dread in my spirit. Not fear, but dread of what is coming. And not just to America.

I believe that the cup of our iniquity is overflowing to the point that the prayers of the intercessors cannot keep up. We are also at a juncture where Bible prophecy must be fulfilled. These three things are joining together to bring about terrible events in 2010.

I am going to fast and pray and weep for my country and repent for my sins and the sins of my unsaved loved ones and friends. I am going to repent for the sins of my country and cry out to God for mercy.

I hope you will join me.

False Teachers on YouTube

I have come across a disturbing amount of false teaching on YouTube recently. Just like websites and blogs, anyone can set up an account and act like they have "the final word" on interpretation of scripture, doctrine, etc.

I guess it is to be expected as Satan is ratcheting up the deception that is allowed by God because they do not have a love for the truth. Satan is preying on the weaknesses of God's people to put them under a strong deluding influence. (2 Thes 2:11). Please pray for these people!

The scriptures are clear to warn those who would be "teachers";

Mat 23:10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.

Jam 3:1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

2Pe 2:1 there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

These YouTube "teachers" run the gamut from just an average Joe who wants to "teach" scripture interpretation in 10 minute videos to the more professional 30 minute video productions from those who claim to operate a Ministry.

There is no doubt that God has called people to YouTube ministry because as we know that wherever sin abounds grace abounds more. (Rom 5:20).

But obviously there are those who have not been called. They have set themselves up for some serious judgment if they are not in God's will and teaching the truth of the Word.

Would it not be better for these to document their walk with the Lord and give their testimony rather than to act in the capacity of a teacher?

Below are a couple of video responses to a false teacher that has surfaced on YouTube called Tic Toc Ministries. The woman's name is Monica Dennington and this video shows clips of her teaching that the Holy Spirit was a created female spirit and is the wife of God. (Queen of Heaven is a demon spirit- see below).

What can you even say to this heresy? Please pray for her because there is something terribly wrong going on here!

Beware of these false teachers as they are springing up all over now.

I guess the good thing is there are plenty apologists on YouTube contending for the faith.

WARNING-

Here is another so called "teaching" ministry on YouTube called Truth or Tradition. http://www.youtube.com/truthortradition

Although I did not watch much of the videos, I found this teaching on their website that claims Jesus is not God. A little leaven........

Some references: PLEASE READ THIS ABOUT THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN!

Jeremiah 7:18
The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and [they] pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger.

This is an excerpt from a Blue Letter Bible.org commentary on Jeremiah Chapter 7:18.

by F. A Fausset

18. children . . . fathers . . . women--Not merely isolated individuals practised idolatry; young and old, men and women, and whole families, contributed their joint efforts to promote it. Oh, that there were the same zeal for the worship of God as there is for error ( Jer 44:17, 19 19:13 )!
cakes . . . queen of heaven--Cakes were made of honey, fine flour, &c., in a round flat shape to resemble the disc of the moon, to which they were offered. Others read as Margin, "the frame of heaven," that is, the planets generally; so the Septuagint here; but elsewhere the Septuagint translates, "queen of heaven." The Phoenicians called the moon Ashtoreth or Astarte: the wife of Baal or Moloch, the king of heaven. The male and female pair of deities symbolized the generative powers of nature; hence arose the introduction of prostitution in the worship. The Babylonians worshipped Ashtoreth as Mylitta, that is, generative. Our Monday, or Moon-day, indicates the former prevalence of moon worship (see on JF & B for Isa 65:11).
that they may provoke me--implying design: in worshipping strange gods they seemed as if purposely to provoke Jehovah.

Signs in the Heavens 2009

There were quite a few very interesting videos and pictures that document "signs in the heavens" in the year 2009. These are some of the strangest events. Check these out!

Isaiah 44:24 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: "I am the LORD, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;

Isaiah 45:12 I have made the earth, And created man on it. I--My hands--stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded.

Isaiah 48:13 Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together.

Joel 2:30 "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.

Luke 21:11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

Luke 21:25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;

Acts 2:19 I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.

Hebrews 1:10 And: "You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

A Young Pulsar Shows Its Hand

aka "The Hand of God"

This picture comes from Nasa.gov in April 2009. This is how NASA describes this amazing picture:

A small, dense object only 12 miles in diameter is responsible for this beautiful X-ray nebula that spans 150 light years. At the center of this image made by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory is a very young and powerful pulsar, known as PSR B1509-58, or B1509 for short. The pulsar is a rapidly spinning neutron star which is spewing energy out into the space around it to create complex and intriguing structures, including one that resembles a large cosmic hand.

John W. Johnston Prophecies for 2010 and Beyond

John Johnston, who is known in our town as Jack, has been warning the people and the churches about what God has revealed to him for 30 years. Just like the prophet Jeremiah, Jack has always been ridiculed and scoffed at and told he was crazy.

Jack is just a man that God chose because he is a nobody, a common man. Jack was also saved by Jesus out of witchcraft and sorcery when he was 17 years old. He comes from a Catholic background in his childhood. When he was saved by Jesus and began to receive direct visitations from God he discovered that most of the Catholic churches are full of idolatry and dead.

Jack is a friend of mine and I was led by the Lord to create his website and to maintain all of the Internet presentation of the information God wants him to tell the people.

I ask that if the Lord should put it on your heart please pray for Jack, as he comes under severe demonic oppression and resistance to prevent him from releasing what God is showing him.

This series of videos pertains to the year 2010 and beyond. As we enter into the fulfillment of the prophecies as written in the word we will see and we will be a witness to the things that God has spoken in His word and revealed to His servants the prophets.

The New Testament Pattern of Building a Church

The New Testament Pattern
by Zac Poonen

Right from the beginning of our work in India, we decided that we would follow the pattern found in the New Testament in every aspect of our ministry - and not what we saw in the churches around us.

In the first century, the Lord used apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds and teachers to build His church (Eph.4:11). We prayed that we would have all these five ministries to build the church in India in our day as well.

Apostles: Apostles were those who planted churches and appointed their elders (Acts 14:23). They were spiritual fathers to the elders and guided the churches that they planted. They did not make their churches into a denomination, but allowed each church to be self-governing. We did not see any apostolic ministry in the churches around us. What we saw among them mostly were two man-made systems of church government:

(i) The pyramid system. This was a centrally-controlled system headed by a Pope or a Superintendent or a President, who had bishops under him, who in turn had pastors under them who ran the churches. All these posts were filled by election! This hierarchical pattern imitated the business world exactly.

(ii) The independent system. In this system, each church was totally independent and answerable to nobody. An elected board would invite a man with a Bible-college degree to be its salaried pastor. After a few years this pastor would discover a larger church where he could get a better salary - and he would move there. Then the board would advertise and find another pastor for their church!!

In both these systems, there were no spiritual fathers - only elected and paid leaders. We rejected both these man-made systems and chose to follow the apostolic pattern described in the New Testament.

Prophets: Prophets (1 Cor.12:28) were those whose ministry revealed the secret sins and failures in a church and who could prescribe the remedy as well (1 Cor.14:25). Their ministry was to challenge, encourage and build-up the church (1 Cor.14:3). But such prophetic ministry was rarely seen in our day. What we did see were false prophets who deceived the believers by pretending to predict their future (like fortune-tellers do). The Lord protected us from such deceivers and gave us genuine prophetic ministry in our midst.

Evangelists: Evangelists were those who brought people to Christ and added them to the local church. But in our day, we saw the emphasis on "evangelistic crusades", where those who came to Christ were not being gathered together and built up into a local New-Testament church. Most of the conversions recorded in the book of Acts, came through personal evangelism. And God gave us some outstanding personal evangelists, who not only brought people to Christ but added them to the local churches as well. We also urged our brothers and sisters to pray that the Holy Spirit would lead them to those around them who were seeking for a God-fearing life. The Lord answered those prayers and added many disciples to our churches. We were about four families when we first met in my house in August 1975. But God added many thousands to us thereafter, from all parts of the world - and most of this was through personal evangelism.

Shepherds: The shepherd (translated as "pastor" in Eph.4:11) is a gift given to the church - and not the title of the leader of a church (as in churches these days). The leaders of the New Testament church were called elders - not pastors - and there was always more than one elder in every church. So we decided that every church that the Lord planted through us, would have at least two elders. At times, we had to wait for some time before we could find men who qualified to be elders. But gradually, the Lord gave us godly elders to lead each church. But we needed many shepherds (pastors) in every church (besides the elders) to help in shepherding the flock. Jesus' example showed us that one man could effectively shepherd only 12 people. So a church with 120 people would need at least 10 shepherds (pastors). God gave us many brothers with a shepherd-heart to care for the lambs and sheep, but we have not attained the proportion of 1 shepherd for 12 people.

Teachers: The teacher in the New Testament had the task of teaching believers "to do everything that Jesus had commanded" (Matt.28:20). They did not expound the Scriptures academically. Their teaching was always practical and designed to lead people to obedience to our Lord's commands - commands such as "Don't get angry, Don't lust after women, Love all your enemies, Don't seek man's honour, Don't love money", etc., (Matt.5:22,28,44; 6:1-18,24). We never heard any teaching on these truths in most of the churches around us. But God gave us teachers who taught the believers how to obey such commands of the Lord.

Financial support for workers: In the New Testament, the Lord's workers were supported financially in two ways: Some were supported by the gifts of believers, while others like Paul supported themselves. But in India, almost every Christian worker was either a salaried worker of a church or supported by gifts from believers. So we saw a great need for some workers in India to support themselves and thereby demonstrate the second method of support found in the New Testament - and thus restore the balance. So I decided to support myself and to serve the churches in India freely. I also decided that I would not receive any royalties for my books and audio-tapes that our church published. I encouraged my fellow-elders also to follow my example. The amazing miracle we have seen is that we now have more than 70 elders in the churches in India, who have been serving the Lord freely for many, many years. And some of them are serving in India's poorest villages.

Reports: The New Testament contains many letters written by the apostles. But they never gave any reports about their work in those letters. Nor did they ask for any money to support themselves or their ministry. But almost every Christian organization (that we knew) sent out reports of their work regularly - and brazenly asked people for money. We decided to follow the example of the apostles - and never to send out any reports or photographs of our work, or to hint about our financial needs to anyone but our heavenly Father. We have followed this policy from the time we started the work in 1975 - and God has abundantly supplied all our needs. Paul shared the reports of his labors only with his fellow-workers - and we have done likewise.

Fellowship: Fellowship and unity among His disciples was the primary burden of Jesus' prayer in John 17. And this was the goal of the apostles too. Most of the churches around us however emphasized activity - meetings and more meetings - and not fellowship and unity. We valued meetings. But we felt that fellowship was more important. So we organized picnics and other functions, at which we got to know each other better. We played games at these picnics with our young people and children and thus deepened our fellowship with each other. Thus we built a depth of fellowship among us that was precious and unparalleled.

There were many other areas like this, where we did things differently from the churches around us. It was a battle to pioneer these new ways of doing things and to return to the practices of the New Testament. Satan opposed us vehemently and many Christians criticized us. But God was with us - and that was all that mattered.

Unity or Separation? Revival or Reformation?

Unity or Separation? Revival or Reformation?
December 13, 2009
By Sara Beveridge

I have always been one of those Christians who were hot or cold. I came back to the Lord in February of 2008 after a very long “cold winter”. Actually it was God who drew me back to Jesus in the most amazing way. You can read about it in my testimony.

Very soon after I rededicated my life to Jesus the Lord started showing me the apostate condition of the church. He did this through dreams, revelation of the Holy Spirit and by showing me in the Word. On April 11th of 2008 the Holy Spirit spoke to me very clearly and said, “Jude; the silent Bible.”

The book of Jude is really speaking about apostasy in the church. The word apostasy means "a total desertion of, or departure from one's religion or principles."
The meaning of the words “silent Bible” as spoken by the Holy Spirit is pretty evident. The Bible in its fullness and truth is not being taught in the churches and is therefore "silent".

For such a small book there are many interesting things about Jude. One thing is that it is not a coincidence that it comes just before the book of Revelation. I believe it is speaking to the very situation we see in organized religion at this point in time. I believe the prophecies of the book of Revelation are just about to start unfolding and some already have started.

Paul tells us in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 that a falling away comes first. Many would argue that there were other periods of “falling away” such as the dark ages. I am telling you there has never been anything close to what we see in the churches at this point in time. Some of the worst examples are ordaining of homosexuals, mixing in of new age beliefs and the denial that Jesus is the only way to the Father and eternal life in heaven.

The parable of the virgins in Matthew 25 gives us a further clue about the apostasy in the church. The foolish virgins are those who have fallen away and the wise virgins are the true bride of Christ. These are the believers who are truly “married” to Jesus in every way. They have "sold out" to Jesus. (Matthew 19:21, Mark 10:21). This parable is a warning to those believers who have fallen into apostasy and lukewarmness.

There are many who claim to be a "Christian". Even Barack Obama.
I am saddened and get angry too, when I witness those who talk the talk but they DO NOT walk the walk.
Lets be real. God HATES carnality and He HATES worldliness! He also HATES a lukewarm believer! (Revelation 3:16). All of these things have overtaken the churches. I wonder if these believers really want God or if they just want Heaven.

There are many warnings to the church in God's Word not to go the way they have gone. And yet they still have gone the way of doctrines of demons and will NOT endure sound doctrine!
(2 Timothy 4:3, Jude 16-19, Colossians 2:8).

The scriptures tell us that separations will take place. Jesus is the one who is doing the separating. We can read many passages about this. (i.e.; Matthew 10:34, 13:25-30, 25:32-33).

Jesus also instructs and warns, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4.) I believe this is for those to come out of the institutionalized Catholic Church and apostate Protestant denominations such as those with an ecumenical theology. This is unfolding right now and will continue.

Many Christians are waiting for a great revival. I do not believe there is going to be such a thing. Not in America anyway. I do believe that because of the “separation” a great reformation is coming and God is going to raise up and “unite” many people who will operate in the way He intended for the church to operate.

There is also going to be a major move of the Holy Spirit. (Joel 2:23-25, 28-29). This major outpouring is going to be given to those who will do with it as God commands. This infusion is necessary so the reformed true bride will be put into a position to overcome, endure and do great exploits in these end times. (Matthew 24:13, John 14:12, Revelation 2:7, 11, 26, Rev 21:7, Daniel 11:32).

If you look at the way churches operate today verses the way Jesus intended for them to be ordered, the church seems to be a failure. In Mark 16: 17-19 Jesus told His disciples that they will cast out demons and lay hands on the sick so that people will be healed and delivered. There is very little of this occurring and many Christians struggle with their sin. They need DELIVERANCE!!!
In some cases where so called "healing revivals" are occurring, I must ask 'is it of God?' (Matthew 24:24, Mark 13:22).
There seems to be a very fleshly, carnal approach to these meetings where the people are put into an almost hypnotic state. There is mixing in of mysticism and occultism. It is very disturbing.
(i.e., Todd Bently, John Crowder and others).

In James 5 14-16 the church is further instructed;

“14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

I visited a church for the first time last Sunday and was handed a list of people that needed prayer because they are ill and diseased. I looked at the pastor and said, “Wow, that’s a lot of sick people!” During the service there was no prayer for any of these people!

As to the structure of the elders in the church, this is clearly outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:28 “And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.”

God did not say appoint a pastor who will sit as a king over the congregation!

Of course there are some churches that are the exception, but I have visited many churches in my city and NOT ONE of them is operating in the mode that Jesus intended!

Jesus also indicates that a reformation of the church is coming when He says in Matthew 16:18 “on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

Jesus told me “Pray for my sheep without ceasing.” As an intercessor, I do this. I wrestle in prayer over these “apostates” and wayward Christians. I have such grief in my spirit over them. But I believe that God is going to do something amazing for His people. I just refuse to give up on them and I remind Him that His word is true. I believe Jesus when He said that if we ask anything in His name he will do it. I believe Him when He said that “the gates of hell will not prevail against My church.” I believe Him!!

I ask that you also believe and agree with me about this right now and say this prayer;

Dear Father I come to you in the name of your son Christ Jesus and ask that you will send a spirit of truth into the churches to minister the truth to your people. Lord I believe your Word, I know it is true and therefore I know that if I ask this in Jesus name you will do it. I pray oh Lord that you will stir their hearts to seek out your truth and to seek your face. I ask that you will bring multitudes out of apostate churches and doctrines and into your will. I ask that they will overcome the evil one and come out of the world. Lord I pray for your people who have fallen away to be lead back to the narrow way that enters in through the narrow gate. I pray for your sheep to be strengthened in their faith as never before. My Dear God, my Creator and my Savior I believe you will answer this prayer because I ask it in Jesus name, Amen!

Come Out of Her My People

"Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
Rev 18:4

DREAM of A MANSION
-by David (Sep 23).

About a week and a half or so ago…around September 12, 2009
I had a dream. The dream was recurring, meaning I dreamt it over
and over all night long.

The dream:

There was this grand old mansion that had seven floors. I was
made to reside in this place, to live there. This grand old house
was in disrepair and falling apart everywhere. As I visited all the
floors in this house, and visited the different rooms, it occurred to
me that this place must have been very, very beautiful to look at at one time.

People were living in various parts of this falling down rickety old
house, but the Lord directed a certain of us who were there to a
place in this old house which would be safe from the falling in parts
of this house.

I myself am a carpenter and a Construction Engineering Technologist

(diploma) in real life. In the dream I got to go and visit the various places

where people had attempted repairs to this grand old structure.

It seemed to me that an extensive amount of repairing was going
on, but it was also very apparent to me that those doing the
repairing of this building were not skilled enough to do the massive
amount of structural, building envelope, aesthetics repairs that
were needed…and these repairs that they did were about to give
way (fall apart due to lack of structural integrity)…The Lord says:
Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it.

The Lord impressed upon me that if I dwell in the house where He
instructed me to, that I will be safe from all harm that would come
to the building when it collapsed in on itself. This building was a
grand structure in its beginning, bigger and more beautiful then
any that have been built to that day, and it is about to undergo
some major changes, so that its latter end of it will be greater
than in its beginning.

Most of this grand old building is about to be demolished and
collapsed in on itself, except the core part of it that I told you
about, that if I dwell there I will be safe.

And so it begins.

I believe the Lord is going to send skilled labor into the field… His
carpenters and engineers of which He Himself is the Chief building
engineer. This structure that is going to go up will be built according
to His specifications and design, and no one will be allowed to
deviate with their own repairs, but will follow His design. The latter
end of this house will be greater then the former.

I believe that God is about to make war with denominational/
institutional Christianity which He hates, which caused His house
to be in disrepair. He is about to make war with the great harlot...

During the coming revival/reformation, people are going to forget
they are Baptist or Pentecostal or Alliance, or Assemblies of God
or whatever… I believe there is a remnant of Christians that God is
calling out to Himself from all denominations, to a place of the
wilderness, where He will lead us and feed us with manna from
heaven… to prepare us and make us ready for harvest.

I believe that something is about to happen, that is going to occur
that is going to bring Christians together, and God shall dwell
among us in an unprecedented move of the Spirit of God. I believe
we are at the gateway to the time known as the Great Tribulation
and that the time is short.

I feel a sense of urgency and a leading of the Holy Spirit, that the
time is short. It is time for ones sitting on the fence with their
Christianity to sit up and take notice – to wake up to what is
coming and to get ready.

This dream/vision has left its mark in my soul, its essence lingers
still… I believe that the Lord Jesus is about to do a new work in His Church.

This goes along with the above dream.

PROCLAIM
11-29-09

PROCLAIM FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA, TO ALL NATIONS, TO THOSE WHO ARE LISTENING. TO THOSE WHO ARE CALLED TO BE MY BRIDE.

COME OUT OF THOSE WELLS WHO NO LONGER HOLD WATER BUT HAVE BECOME RAGING WAVES OF THE SEA. WALKING AFTER THEIR OWN LUSTS, ENTICING MY PEOPLE WITH MUDDY WATERS, UNCLEAN AND RIGHTEOUS IN THEIR OWN EYES.

I AM CALLING TO THOSE WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR AND KNOW MY VOICE. MY LAST CALL. COME FORTH, BE YE HOLY, AS I AM HOLY. I SAY PROCLAIM AND MAKE IT KNOWN. THIS LAST CALL AMONG THIS NATION AND ALL NATIONS TO SEPARATE, SEPARATE, I SAY.

NO MORE MUDDY WATERS. AGAIN I SAY SEPARATE, SEPARATE, TO THOSE WHO HAVE AN EAR TO HEAR. PROCLAIM THIS LAST CALL TO MY REMNANT, FROM BORDER TO BORDER AND SEA TO SEA. SHOUT IT; PROCLAIM IT, FOR THOSE WHO HAVE AN EAR TO HEAR. COME FORTH MY ARMY, MY BRIDE. JOIN RANKS WITH MINE. FOR MY SICKLE IS READY AND THE LAST HARVEST IS NEAR. BE YE READY AND MARCH FORTH, EACH ACCORDING TO YOUR CALL.

Your Ark and the Coming Flood

Your Ark and the Coming Flood
By Clifford Hilbert- Watchman

For years now many of you have been ark-building and you didn't even know it. What you thought was a horrible way that God had forced you to live - i.e. giving up your jobs, your homes, your precious possessions - was actually a building process. You were building your arks of faith and trust in the Lord while most, if not all, of your friends, family and other Christians didn't understand, laughed at you, thought you were crazy and told you that you were not hearing from the Lord. They judged you, condemned you and ridiculed you, just as they did to Noah when he was building his boat.

The process has not been easy. Instead, it has been very, very painful and very, very lonely. It has cost many of you, including myself, literally everything. Your lives, and mine, have been turned upside down. Everything that used to be normal is now abnormal. Everything that used to be abnormal is now normal. You, and I, long for some semblance of normality in our lives again because what we have had to go through has been absolutely horrendous - terribly, terribly painful. It has been the worst nightmare that we could have ever dreamed.

But we have been building our arks of faith all this time. The Lord has taught us to trust Him in every way, for everything. But trusting Him to provide for us has been many times met with bitter disappointment after bitter disappointment after bitter disappointment. Many time we wanted to give up, but God would not let us. But we are still alive and our faith is now much stronger than it ever was before. Our arks of faith are just about finished and God is getting ready to tell us to enter our arks.

These arks of faith are what we will enter when His judgment is poured out upon this nation, very, very soon. We have learned how to listen to Him, how to hear Him and how to obey Him. When He says to pack up and move, we will pack up and move, not always knowing where we will be moving to. When He says to go here, we will go here. When He says to go there, we will go there. We will be like Abraham, moving from place to place, from refuge to refuge. Some He will settle down in one place, others He will keep moving from place to place. But we will continually be in our arks of faith. We will move upon the floodwaters of evil and catastrophic judgment that will be unleashed upon this nation, but we will be at peace and we will experience God's supernatural protection and provision.

Wherever He tells us to go, they will be places where we will minister to others who have not been prepared as we have. The fearful we will lead to peace. The wounded and hurting we will comfort and heal. The trembling hearts we will still. The blind (to what is happening, and why) we will help see the truth. The captives (to the lies and false doctrines of today's churches) we will set free.

Others God has been instructing to build physical arks, places of refuge and safety. These will be places where you can be self-sufficient during the traumatic times that are coming. Places that you and your families, as well as others can survive during the coming years. It is now time to begin loading these arks with provisions - food, clothing, blankets, water purification tablets, candles, propane stoves, medical supplies, toiletries, etc., whatever the Lord puts upon your heart to store. THAT IS THE KEY for all of you, whatever THE LORD tells you personally to do. If you don't know how to plant a garden and grow vegetables and fruits, now is the time to learn - it is also the time to begin storing up seeds for planting during those times. If you can now plant fruit trees in these places of refuge, I urge you to do so.

The reason I say that it is now time to begin loading your arks is because when hyperinflation hits this country (and I suspect that it will happen in the latter part of next year), the prices of everything will skyrocket. It will cost much less if you can begin to purchase the items you will need beginning now, little by little. But before you do anything, PRAY, PRAY and PRAY some more. Make sure that it is the Lord who is telling you, individually to do this. Do not do it simply because I think it's time, do it because you have prayed about it and received the Lord's direction on it.

Do not expect to spend just a few weeks or months in these places of refuge. Expect to spend several years in them. What is coming upon this nation will not be over with quickly, it will be several years before the danger has passed. You must be strong, patient and have great endurance. Only prayer and fasting will give you the strength needed. Please understand this - we are not talking about a short time in these "arks", we are talking about several years. This is a strong warning not to take this lightly, but to prepare for a long seige. Life in this country will NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.

There are others, like myself, whom the Lord has not had make any physical plans for the future. Our preparations have all been spiritual, knowing that we will have to trust Him to lead and guide us when the time comes. To each as the Lord leads him or her. What we ALL need to do now is to load ourselves up with PRAYER. That is the best preparation we can have.

When will you enter your arks? For many it will be when Mt. Rushmore collapses - this will be the sign of immediate judgment coming. I believe the solar storms will happen immediately after Mt. Rushmore falls. Life for many will become exceedingly difficult then. For many others the Lord will have wait until a later time to enter their arks. How will you know? By prayer, prayer, prayer and more prayer. You must begin to fill your arks with much prayer between now and then, so you will know when it is God's time for you personally to enter your ark. DO NOT LOOK TO MAN TO TELL YOU WHEN IT IS TIME.If you do, you will be badly misled. You must develop a very, very close and personal relationship with the Lord now so that you will be able to hear clearly from Him - you do this through prayer, fasting and reading the Bible.

What it is definitely NOT TIME TO DO is become fearful and frantic. That is not of the Lord, it is of the evil one. Many of you spend hours each day going from one Christian website to another, one religious forum to another, looking for man to tell you what to do, looking for something to be excited about. Many of you do the same thing looking to find something to panic about. What has happened is that you have been misled by supposed "prophets" who have caused you to be fearful every day. You listened to all the lies about the swine flu and how there would be computer chips in each flu shot which would allow the government to track and control you. Or the lies about the irremovable stainless steel bracelets you would be forced to wear once you got the flu shot, giving the government the ability to track you and control your mind. Or the lies about the FEMA camps that you would be sent to if you refused the shots. Or the lies about how when Obama declared a state of emergency regarding the flu shots (it was done to protect the clinics from medical malpractice lawsuits, so that they could quickly give the shots to anyone without needing to follow the normal governmental guidelines in this matter) that this was the beginning of you losing your freedom and the first step to Obama declaring martial law. Or the lies about how the borders would be closed and martial law being declared. You listened to the lies about how Washington, D.C. would be destroyed by a nuclear bomb on Nov. 10 (Vincent Xavier's first "prophecy" about this was that it would happen in October, but not be realized until November. That should have immediately shown you that he was a fraud because it made no sense whatsoever). Or the lies about Obama was going to be assassinated. Or the lies about the banking holiday that would happen this year, and how you wouldn't be able to get your money out of them. Or the many other lies out there on the internet.

Little children, it is time to quit spending all your time on the internet looking for things to get excited or fearful about, and spend that time in prayer so the Lord can tell you what is coming. You would rather spend your time on the internet listening to what man has to say, because that is more exciting than spending time with the Lord in prayer. If you want to know what is about to happen, then seek the Lord while He may be found. You need wisdom and discernment, because few of you have any. Wisdom and discernment are given by the Holy Spirit after many, many, many hours spent in prayer and reading the Bible. You pay a price for them. That price is giving up the desires of the flesh and seeking the things of the Spirit. Few of you are willing to pay that price.

God is giving us warnings of what is to come in the next few years, and He is giving us plenty of time to prepare for it. The first step in that preparation is much prayer. If you do not resolve to begin spending your time in prayer, you will be in great turmoil in the very near future.

Worldwide Crisis in the Church

WORLDWIDE CRISIS in THE CHURCH
-by Andrew Strom.

I only began to truly understand the magnitude of this crisis on my
recent trip to Uganda. I have ministered in Nigeria many times, but
I had always thought Nigeria was a special case - that the awful
poison I saw there had not spread so far in other places. Uganda
opened my eyes. The whole of Africa is being infected. And I mean
on an epidemic scale. An utter destruction of truth, a complete
undermining of the words of Jesus, a total loss of the pure milk of
the word. Greed and corruption and "prosperity" lies are laying
waste to it all on a vast scale.

It is so difficult to put into words the horror of what is happening in
the Third World. These are Revival countries - where God has been
moving in great power. They are nations full of the simple and the
poor - who often make the most devoted lambs of Jesus. And now
I feel like we are seeing the "rape" of these precious Third World
Christians by a vast army of corrupted charlatans who call them-
selves "God's preachers". Leaders by the thousand who have been
utterly ruined by the greed-inducing lies of Western Christian media.
And now they are ravaging God's precious sheep.

This is not a small problem - it is enormous. Right across the
continents of Africa and Asia and South America - where God has
been moving the most - we find this gospel of greed beginning to
utterly dominate the church - particularly in the big cities. In many
places it is difficult to find pastors or leaders who are not gorging
themselves with it. We are talking about corruption and sickness
on such a scale that I do not believe the like of it has been seen
since the days of Constantine. This is a crisis unlike almost any
other that the church has known.

Just this week I got an email from a pastor in Puerto Rico who wrote
the following: "The prosperity and WOF false gospel has made
extensive damage to the local Pentecostal/Charismatic church.
Nowadays WOF theology is the "standard theology" heard on
Christian media (radio, music and TV). A Spanish-speaking
subsidiary of TBN called ENLACE is spread all over Latin America
with the name-and-claim-it 'gospel'..."

Another man from Nigeria wrote to me:
"When I heard your message, especially about the report of the
church in Nigeria, you were right on the money... This money
gospel has reshaped and taken over Christianity in Nigeria totally,
and it saddens my heart... You agree with me that it's a major
crisis in Lagos. Everything is about money and you seem a fool
when you talk against it... "leadership, money, increase." So many,
all over Africa."

On one trip to Nigeria I stayed in the home of a pastor of a large
church there. He had two brand-new Mercedes parked in the
driveway as well as a new Lexus SUV. Inside was a 10-foot wide
Plasma television with Satellite TV. And such things are not
uncommon at all in the larger churches of Africa. In fact, more
and more it is being seen as "normal". And how do they get all
this money? By manipulating the poor, precious lambs of Jesus,
of course. Screwing it out of a people who live in poverty the like
of which you and I can hardly imagine. You should see the
"offerings" these gentlemen take up - so manipulative it could
almost make you physically sick. And where did they learn all
these "money tricks"? Why - from U.S Christian television, of
course! And then they multiply it by 100.

So what is to be done about all this? Has it already become so
ingrained that it is hopeless trying to turn it around? Is the amount
of money being spent on television by these sharks so great that
the Truth simply can't compete? These are very good questions.
Because television and radio are clearly the dominant factor in
this race to destruction.

As I said in a previous article, we have to make a personal choice
in this crisis between Despair and 'Resolve'. We can either sink
down in despair, or "Resolve" to stand and fight for the Truth and
for the precious lambs of God. I have to take heart in the fact that
Jesus says HE is the one who builds His Church - and the gates
of hell will not prevail against her. I believe God has a plan - and
it is a plan that involves you and me - and everyone else who knows
the Truth and is willing to fight for it. We are Christ's ambassadors
and He has a special mission for us - just like in every similar
crisis down through history. All we have to do is stand and speak.
God will do the rest.

I love the example of David who came to Israel during a similar
emergency. When he saw that the Israelites were faced by a
taunting, God-mocking Philistine named Goliath he did not go aside
to hold committee meetings - or even to pray for several days before
acting! His heart was stirred within him and he cried, "What shall
be done to the man that kills this Philistine, and takes away the
reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine,
that he should defy the armies of the living God?" (1 Sa 17:26).

This is the reaction that God is looking for. It is a heart response
birthed out of a kind of "holy indignation". And it results in a courage
that stands boldly for Truth - without even thinking about the
consequences. It is those who have this "holy indignation" that God
is wanting to use in these last days. The crisis is severe. Who will
stand for righteousness and truth? Only those who, like David, have
drawn close to God and feel His heart. God's eyes are roaming
the earth, seeking such ones to stand for Him at this very moment.

I said in an earlier article that those who have a special calling
for "media" are particularly needed in this battle. For that is where
a lot of it is being fought. It is a war for the hearts and minds of
the church worldwide. And lately the devil has been winning almost
every round. But the future is not decided. We have yet to see what
will happen when God Himself takes the field - and deploys His
truth-tellers to battle. Then we may yet see a different story.

May we all be part of the solution to this crisis, my friends. May
we all - under the anointing of the Holy Spirit - simply stand and
start declaring God's Truth into this situation. Simple fearless
courage is still one of the few things on this earth that makes the
devil tremble. It still only takes "five small stones." The time to
'quit ourselves like men' has come - to gird ourselves for war. The
eternal destiny of millions of Jesus' precious sheep hangs in the
balance. Will we respond?

America’s Coming Super Depression

Prophetic warnings are a tool to urge us to press into Jesus and this one is no exception!

The important thing to keep in mind about prophetic warnings is that they serve a very important purpose to the church of Jesus Christ. We are not to be fearful and therefore ignore them! Prophecy is given as a warning so that we will pray and seek God on these matters. (Please read and meditate on these scriptures: Isaiah 44:7-8, Isaiah 46:9-10, Hosea 12:10, Proverbs 22:19-21, 1 Timothy 4:14-15, 2 Peter 1:21).

Watchman Nathan Leal has released this warning concerning the collapse of the US dollar and a coming depression. Can this be stopped? I don't think so because God must do something to get the attention of the people of this nation in order that we may acknowledge Him as our sovereign God.

The Lord has confirmed this to me. Last year the Lord gave me a word that I would be moving by December 2009. That has occurred, as I sold my condo and have downsized into an apartment in November. The Lord also told me not to spend any money on things I don't need. In addition the Holy Spirit spoke to me through another when I heard this person say, "It's time to start building an ark." (Referring to the preparations that Noah made before the flood, which was God's judgment). I knew in my spirit that was a message for me!

As to preparations, I stand on the truth of God's word. Jesus tells us that if we ask anything in His name He will do it (John 14:13-14) and that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16). So the thing to do is to pray for yourself and your family, repent of all sin and ask God what YOU should be doing.

"Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever." (2 Chronicles 20:21)

America’s Coming Super Depression
A Warning to America and to the World!
Nathan Leal - November 29, 2009

Hello friends, over the last several months I have been wrestling with a prophetic warning that I received from God. In this letter, I am going to share these things with you.

This warning from God is not one to be taken lightly. Based on its contents, every one that is reading this prophetic alert needs to prepare themselves and their families for very hard events that are approaching. The warning of God always begins with a trumpet sound. And by the leading of the Holy Spirit, I am sounding an alarm.

A very loud alarm!

If you reside within the borders of the United States, what is coming, concerns you and your family. If you reside outside of the borders, you will also feel the residual effects of what is coming. So likewise, take notice!

A quick summary of this warning includes the following: In our future, America is going to face the incredible torrent of a Dollar crisis. How bad will it be? Bad enough to forever change the landscape of the United States! What is coming will not be a mere correction in the markets, but instead, will be at the level of currency extinction!

The Super Depression

It is not easy to share these things. But as Americans, we are all facing a tsunami of economic destruction! The US Dollar is going to collapse! As a result, life in America is going to change. The once strong middle class of the USA is going to be slaughtered and replaced with a new type of lifestyle. The rest of the world calls this lifestyle; Third world living!

The historians that chronicle the approaching crisis in America will have to fumble to find the right words; The Greatest Depression - The Dark Years of America - The Super Depression, etc.

America, the once mighty fortress of commerce and strength has lost her luster to the world. And in the next few years, this will become very evident to her apathetic citizens.

When the financial super storm arrives, the administration will no longer be able to lie to the public and say, "All is well and recovery has begun!"

It will be difficult for the media, to successfully tell the general public that things are okay, when the people are starving and eating out of garbage dumpsters!

A Prophetic Dream - The Dollar's Demise

In a recent Audio, released October 16, 2009, I shared this warning including some prophetic dreams that revealed the details of what is coming. I would like to share those things again in this message that you are now reading.

It all started, approximately 7 months ago, in early 2009. Back then, I had a prophetic dream that I kept to myself because I did not understand it. I consulted other Christians about it. But they did not understand it either. Some of them said that the dream could not be correct because the timing of it did not match popular predictions.

The dream was very short but this is what occurred;

The Dream begins ---------------------------------------

I was speaking to a financial expert who told me that in Mid-August of 2010, wheels would be put into motion to abandon the US dollar and after this happened, everything was going to change!

End of dream. ---------------------------------------------

For seven months, I wondered about this dream. One of the main reasons, was because many people were saying that in the fall of 2009, the dollar would crash. So, I kept the dream to myself because it went against the popular warnings that many of you had read during the spring and summer of 2009.

But still, I kept praying and seeking God about it. And finally, God answered my prayers. Approximately August 15, 2009, I had another prophetic dream.

Second Dream begins: ----------------------------------

In this dream, I found myself at a shopping mall. I was hungry, so I decided to go to the food court to eat. When I arrived there, all of the food court restaurants were closed and out of business except for one. It had a sign; it was called "School Cafeteria."

Many people were in line to eat at this School Cafeteria Restaurant. I remember saying to myself, "Well this will be good. School food is cheap!" I assumed that the meal would be about two dollars!

The restaurant did resemble a school cafeteria. The ladies serving the food were school cafeteria workers. As I ordered my food, there was only one choice for a meal. It was a slab of processed chicken with some mashed potatoes and a few green beans. I took the plate of food to the cashier. Then she said, "That will be $30!"

"Thirty dollars!" I protested!

"I'm not going to pay that!" I said!

I left the food and walked away. I exited the shopping mall and decided to go eat somewhere else. As I left the mall, a restaurant appeared in front of me. It was a Chinese restaurant. I walked toward it. There was a waiter standing outside of the restaurant showing everybody his menu. The waiter was Chinese.

I walked up to him and said, "I just want coffee. How much is a plain cup of coffee?"

The Chinese waiter smiled and pointed to his menu. As I looked at the menu it read, “Coffee - $10.”

Again, I was shocked and angry that it cost so much money. So I walked away.

The dream was over. ------------------------------------

When I had this dream, I did not realize that it was a confirmation to my earlier dollar dream several months previous. So again, I kept it to myself. Then I had a third and final dream just several weeks ago at the beginning of October, 2009. But this dream helped me to finally understand what God was trying to say.

The third dream begins ---------------------------------

Again, in the dream I was hungry, but this time, I was in the cafeteria of an actual school! I am not sure if it was a middle school or a high school.

As I got in the line to get some food, I asked the cashier if they were still open. She said, "Yes but in order to get a special price, you need to have five people in your group.”

I noticed that all of the other people in line were adults. In fact, I did not see any children. The adults all looked like they had been working the whole day. I noticed a prostitute in the line and also a construction worker who was dirty. The prostitute looked dirty and middle aged.

I asked the cashier, “What is the special?"

She said, “Well, it is Thanksgiving dinner!"

I asked her, "How much is the dinner?"

She said,” It is five meals for ninety-nine dollars!"

I shouted, “Five for ninety-nine dollars! That is twenty dollars each!”

She said, “Yes! And if you want it for this price, you need five people in your group!”

Again, I protested.

The dream was over! ------------------------------------

After I had the third dream, I began to realize that these three dreams actually went together. So, I began seeking God over many days and hours of prayer.

And finally God answered! This is the message that God revealed through the Holy Spirit (Note - I was told the following by the Holy Spirit approximately October 14, 2009)

He said:

"In the days ahead, a secret meeting is going to take place somewhere in the world. The participants of this meeting will decide that they are going to abandon the US dollar. And the target date that they would decide to begin abandoning the dollar would be what you heard in the first dream, Mid-August of 2010!"

The date or the location of the meeting was not revealed to me.

I also need to be very clear; my prophetic dream did not say that in Mid-August of 2010 the dollar would collapse. What it did say, was that in Mid-August of 2010, the wheels would be put into motion to begin abandoning the dollar. After that, everything was going to change!

Everything will Change!

I find it interesting that in the dream, I heard the word "Change!" That was the moniker of the Obama administration: Change!

I believe that the “Change” that is coming is going to be very, very unpleasant and will result in a much different existence than what Americans are used to! I wonder if this coming “change” was part of their plan all along?

For the record, I do not know how long it will take for this “change” to work itself through the financial history of America. I do not know if it will take one year, five years or 10 years.

God only revealed that in August of 2010 wheels would be put into motion.

Also, when these wheels are put into motion, I do not know if they will be announced to the news media. It is entirely possible that all of these events are going to take place behind the scenes. Therefore, it may be difficult to track them. God did not tell me if this news would be made public.

At the time of this writing, late November, 2009, it is possible that the meeting to abandon the dollar has already taken place. Or, it may still be coming. I do not know! (I am handicapped by limited prophetic information.)

Nevertheless, the remaining months of the dollars health are sure to be bumpy as the dollar spirals downward.

Some things that I have wondered about are:

Will the US dollar lose much of its value before the wheels are "placed in motion" for abandonment in August of 2010?
Will the dollar’s future performance be so horrible, that it will cause this decision will be made?
Was the Thanksgiving dinner that was being served in my third dream a clue to the timing of when these things will happen? Again, I don't know!
But the conclusion about this prophetic warning is this; the US Dollar’s days are numbered!

Expensive Food

During the coming super depression, one of the sources of food will be provided by government soup kitchens. Hence the school cafeteria feeding adults!

Another big player in the coming Dollar collapse will be China. That is why a Chinese restaurant was in my dream. So besides soup kitchens, another food source will be the smiling Chinese! But getting food from China will come with a hefty price! A price that many Americans will either be unwilling or unable to pay! Why? Because in the future, as the dollar loses its value and also its reserve currency status, things in America are going to become very, very expensive!

How expensive is it going to be? Were the prices of the meals in my dream an indicator of what is coming? Those meals saw increases of 500 to 1000% !

As I continued seeking God, I asked Him, “How bad is it going to be?"

And it was through several more hours of prayer and travailing that I actually saw the picture of what is coming to America. And what I heard was very, very disturbing!

Lamentations is Coming to America!

Sharing these things is not easy because I do not know if I can justifiably describe the intense horror that lies ahead in our future. As I was seeking God, the Holy Spirit whispered to me, “Lamentations is coming to America!”

When I pressed for an explanation, I was told that the things that are written in the Old Testament book of Lamentations would happen in America's future. The Holy Spirit told me to read the book of Lamentations. Also, He said when you see the word Jerusalem in Lamentations, substitute the word America as you read it! Not to rewrite the Scriptures, but instead to get a picture of how things are going to look in our future.

So I did! And I was overwhelmed with what I read.

When the prophet Jeremiah wrote the book of Lamentations, it became his diary of what he saw when Jerusalem was invaded. As he wrote his report, he was overwhelmed with tears, heart ache, grief and sorrow! (Lamentations 1:16)

His words painted a picture of something that is only witnessed in nightmares!

He saw people that he knew and loved starving to death in the streets! (Lamentations 2:11)

He witnessed the death of children that just a few years earlier he held in his arms as swaddling babies! (Lamentations 2:22)

He witnessed the ear piercing screams of mothers holding their dying children who pined away from hunger! (Lamentations 2:12)

He saw the young men of the town who had been pierced through by the invaders! (Lamentations 2:21)

He witnessed an economy that was destroyed with failed money! Only people willing to trade their valuables were able to get bread! (Lamentations 1:11)

He saw all the wealth of the city looted by foreigners. (Lamentations 5:2)

He saw people who were once rich, reduced to begging in the streets! (Lamentations 3:17)

As Jeremiah witness all of these things, his strength and his health failed him. It was too much for him to bear! He tells us in Lamentations that the things he saw made his digestion system fail!” (Lamentations 2:11)

Lamentations, five chapters describing the judgment of God! And soon, these same events will visit the land of America!

From coast to coast, the fall of America's economy will be evident. Restaurants, stores, and shopping malls will become abandoned "see-through" buildings with broken windows and in disrepair. People who once stood in line for concert tickets will instead be standing in line for food!

The Cup of Iniquity!

Why? Because America's cup of iniquity is full! God is holding the cup in His hand…. and it is boiling!

The voices of God's messengers have been warning for years that America needs to repent! But instead, America went the other way. In her arrogance, she has boasted that she does not need God or His commandments. And now America’s leader has proclaimed that she is not a Christian nation!

Her judges have proclaimed that freedom to “do what thou wilt” is nobler than “Thine will be done!”

America is guilty! The blood of her innocent ones flows through her sewers. They cry out from the ground and also from her cosmetics, facial creams, and vaccines! America has committed crimes against the laws of her forgotten God and also, against humanity!

And now it has been determined that she must pay!

Therefore, coming soon to America, the things written by Jeremiah in Lamentations! So my friends, do yourself a favor and read it!

Can it be stopped? It is already arriving!

The hardship that is coming to America is not a typical business cycle. It is going to be the largest financial reboot in the history of humanity! The United States dollar is going to lose its reserve currency status in the world.

When this happens, the citizens of America will learn the real meaning of poverty, a lifestyle that half of the world's population has already been experiencing for many years.

Bitter or Better

The events that are coming are going to be bitter-sweet to the population. Some people will not be able to handle it, and they will fail in the future journey. Many will fall by the wayside through defeat or through self-destruction. The emotional heart ache and stress that the future is going to bring will be too much for some individuals. Spiritual endurance will be the key to survival!

What is coming is not a curse. It is a chastisement. And yes, it will also be painful!

Very painful!

But through the coming events of hardship, many of God's people are going to discover the true providence of God. Many in his remnant are also going to discover and realize that the best things in life are not things! Many people will actually discover their faith in God. They will realize that the path that lies ahead will be an opportunity to minister to the weak as they themselves are also being purged.

The time to prepare for all of these things is now, my friends! The spiritual bank account needs to have some deposits…NOW!

Your bank account of prayer needs to have some deposits….NOW!

Your knowledge of the Word of God needs to increase…NOW!

If by chance you are reading this and you happen to be famous or wealthy. Perhaps you're a celebrity in your field and have a lot of self-confidence. Please know this; the storm that is coming is not going to play favorites.

The only thing that will save you or any of us is humble repentance to the Lord God, your Creator! Jesus Christ!

So how do we prepare ourselves for what is approaching?

Get Ready!

Step one - get your spiritual house in order. The only ones that will be able to weather what's coming will be those that have surrendered their lives to God in repentance and in humble favor in His sight.

I am not just talking about first-time believers! I am talking about everybody! We must all repent! The majority of people who call themselves Christians today are living an unfortunate two-faced lie; where they have a life that is full of closet sins. In the future, having these dark secrets will not work in one’s favor to be protected by God.

I must also mention that this is an “equal family opportunity.” Entire families under the same roof should be challenged to repent! So, Moms and Dads! Please have a meeting with your children and tell them what is coming! And then, either pray with them or start praying for them!!

After a session of repentance, begin preparing with practical means. The window of opportunity to prepare is closing before our very eyes. Start now by saving extra food because it's going to get very, very expensive!

If possible, pay off your car or buy a cheaper car that is free and clear. If job loss is in your future, you do not want to be worrying about a car payment.

If you have a savings or retirement fund, take the time to educate yourself on preserving your wealth. Notice, I did not say increasing your wealth! I said preserve your wealth! Why is that? Because when the dollar starts losing its value, people who have their money in savings accounts will see the buying power of their dollars diminish.

Hedge the value of your money now, by converting it to gold or silver bullion or other currency. You may need to get advice from individuals who not only are qualified but who also understand that the dollars going to crash. Please do not choose generic financial advisers who have no knowledge of what is coming. They will steer you wrong!

Educate yourself now on the science of preparation. Research this topic on the Internet, read Christian forums. But by all means, get started now if you have not already.

There is much work to be done!

Find the mercy of God my friends. Do it now!

God bless you,
