I can't really see what all the fuss is about with these skulls. Satan cannot do anything without God allowing it, can he? It seems like there's a lot of hype going around on youtube about the Mayans and the New Age movement, 2012 and 11-11-11. Maybe something will happen, maybe not. But it's all under God's sovereign control isn't it? What do you think will come of this itinerary? I guess I'm missing something...

Jessica, Evil can operate if it has a foothold. God allows it if He can't legally prevent it. This is why Satan is the accuser. The whole system of evil operates on a legal rights basis. That is why we pray against it, because as a Saint we have the right! Learn about the enemy of your soul! You only have to look at your own home to see that maybe you have allowed it to go unchecked. I only say this to urge you to learn about this.

ReplyDeleteThis is a battle sister and the evil is waxing worse and worse. The Saints need to put on the full armor, and know that we are not fighting flesh but these evil principalities. We must do our best to stand against them. Especially if something like this is coming to our nation or your city. As a Saint you have the authority in Jesus name to bind the evil. But make sure you have no open doorways yourself for satan to counter attack. I learned that lesson first hand.
Thank you Sarah. I guess lately I really have been asking God for wisdom about all this hype (I spend too much time on youtube). I see that so many people are saying so many things about the end times, I just am not sure I see the Bible teaching a literal end times scenario (as we are hearing about) I was just reading the Bible yesterday and saw the words, "world without end". It made me think again about how Revelation says that the things written were "at hand" as John says also in his epistle, that it was the "last time". All this was written as if saying the followers of Christ at that time were to experience the end of the age. It has always bothered me that the apostles wrote as if the things Jesus said were for them and those of their generation, "upon whom the ends of the age has come" but that it is today passed off as that they had it wrong, that it was ultimately for a future people and that Christ would not come for over 2,000 years, even though they all believed wholeheartedly Christ would come in their generation. Peter even said that they were looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, when the "elements" would melt with fervent heat, the earth and the works in it being burned up. So they were looking for and hastening that day, seemingly because Christ said it would happen, that God would come to destroy the old system of Judaism and establish His earthly kingdom.. outside being the dogs and sorcerers and idolaters and everyone who love and practices a lie.. world without end. (I'm putting these together to make a possible scenario.)
ReplyDeleteI was raised from the time I trusted in Christ, in a church that was full on pre-millenial (sp?) and dispensational etc. and I believed that with all my heart. I still am not counting it out, but there are so many good and solid arguments as to what the end times refers to. This article was very helpful for me to see what "heavens and earth" refers to in apocalyptic language. http://www.tentmaker.org/books/heavenandearth.htm I don't hold firm to any particular view regarding these things, but I am really just wanting the truth and nothing but it. Every view I have ever come across has some good points and some things that contradict the whole of Scripture. I just press on and pray for wisdom.. the internet has given us too much information! It would take a lifetime to study even a portion of it. All I know for sure is that Jesus is the resurrection and the life, and when we die here in this life, we will be with Him, never to die again.

Jesus Christ gave us the authority to use His name. Whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven. Whatever we loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Therefore, by the authority of the gospel of Jesus Christ and by the authority of His Holy name, we bind the principalities, the powers, the rulers of darkness, we bind and cast down spiritual wickedness in high places and forbid them to come against the saints in Jesus' name Amen.

ReplyDeleteYesterday I hitchhiked from Riverton to Dubois, Wyoming. I had a powerful prayer meeting with a friend last night in Dubois. She showed me this book on Biblical Numerology. I opened right to the chapter on the Number 11. It said: "11--disorder and judgment".
This morning a friend dropped me off west of Dubois. Out of the clear blue, he said, "soon it will be 11-11-11."
There are no accidents in the Kingdom of Heaven. Things happen for a reason. Maybe the Lord is going to do something (judgment?) on or around 11 November of this year.
Isn't all numerology a form of witchcraft/divination?

Dear That Guy-- There is an obvious lack of wisdom and understanding on your part pertaining to numbers. If there is a perversion by Satan then there is an original from Yahweh. Did Yahweh not create all things? Yes of course anyone who can read will understand that the Bible warns against divination, but patterns in numbers are Biblical. No one on this blog is practicing divination, I can assure you. Satan and his minions also use numbers in his perverted manner. Know your enemy and pray for wisdom on this.

That Guy: There is numerology that comes from the Lord and there is numerology that comes from Satan.
ReplyDeleteThere is spirituality that is of the Lord and there is Satanic spirituality. The Lord creates something and then Satan perverts it. Satan doesn't create anything; Satan corrupts God's creation.
The Lord created the Heavens and the Earth. The Lord designed the Heavens (the stars, the galaxies, etc) and there are people who can read the Lord's Signature in the stars. Satan comes along and perverts it with astrology.
Christians who are really into mathematics and numerology say that the Bible is mathematically perfect (it should be--the Scriptures are inspired by the Holy Ghost).
What I have heard is that the key Biblical numbers are: 3 (the Trinity), 5 (the five offerings in Mosaic Law, the five wounds of Christ), 7 (perfection), 10 (?), 12 (government) and 40 (testing or tribulation).

That Guy, to add to what Sarah and Tim said, I'd like to add, please remember that the devil is a copycat. Nothing is original. Everything God has created and uses, Satan will take it almost exact and make subtle perversions, but mostly use the thing he has perverted and use this as the main source, the end all. Take numerology for example. The Devil uses astrology to where people use this as their "source" their end all until it becomes their god, their idol. God uses his creation (all creation for his glory). Remember that the stars and numbers of significance all are used by God for whatever purpose he desires. When Jesus Christ was born God used stars and significant numbers; (3 wise men carrying 3 gifts; etc. following the star).
