A People's Revolution?

I was praying about the situation in Egypt this week and I was speaking to the Lord about their leader Mubarak. I knew by the Holy Spirit that Egyptians had received the leader that God gave them as judgment for their worship of a false god and their rejection of the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; Yeshua the Messiah.

Daniel 2:21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Romans 13:1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities , for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Colossians 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities ; all things were created by him and for him.

Of course these scriptures apply to the United States as well. God has given us a wicked leader as judgment because of the wickedness of the hearts of the people. America was turned over to Obama for rejecting the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Americans pay lip service to God but their hearts are far from him.

Egyptians have now decided that after 30 years of despotic rule by Mubarak they want him out. And exactly who and what type of government do they really believe they will end up with after their “people’s revolution?” The Muslim Brotherhood and Sharia law? That’s like going from the frying pan into the fire. Here is their creed: "God is our objective; the Koran is our law; the Prophet is our leader; jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations."

This is just a huge farce because the problem is of course spiritual. The nation of Egypt is under the dominion of a very powerful ancient principality called “the Spirit of Egypt.”

CAPTIVITY is a form of judgment that God has always used as a form of punishment, and ultimately redemption, to those peoples and nations that reject Him and His ways. As a matter of fact, the word "captivity" appears in the Bible 127 times. And as long as the Egyptians continue to reject Yeshua / Jesus Christ, they will continue to be bound and held captive by many evil "Pharaoh's" despite their vain attempt to be set free with a “people’s revolution.”

If you look at the history of ancient Judea and Israel, God sent them into captivity countless times for rejecting Him. Including the most famous captivity of all which was when Pharaoh held the Israelites captive for 430 years! (Exodus 12:40-41.)

If you look at the history of the world, captivity has always existed in nations that rejected God. Sometimes the captivity is to brutal dictators and ruthless regimes. Sometimes the captivity is to famine, pestilence and poverty. And now we see that the WHOLE WORLD is held captive by the Spirit of Babylon until Jesus returns to set up His Kingdom.

The only true freedom is the LIBERTY found in a relationship with the Almighty One, Yeshua the Messiah. A nation can change governments and they can promise “change you can believe in”, and have all the "people's revolutions" you want, but if that nation or any person does not acknowledge the true God of all creation and obey Him, then they are sent into captivity.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. Psalm 33:12.

In Christ, Sarah Beveridge

Refer to Isaiah 19:1-25 for Bible Prophecy in the process of fulfillment right now in regards to Egypt!

  1. Amen.

I am a student of history. I have studied more on the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 than the French Revolution of 1789. They were both bloody, Godless revolutions. Why did these two revolutions happen? There was very little salt (the Gospel of Jesus Christ) in Russia and France.

I don't know a whole lot about Egypt, but I am guessing that less than 1 percent of the population is Christian. I am not exactly sure how this revolution in Egypt is going to turn out, but if a nation aggressively rejects Christ for hundreds of years, they WILL experience God's wrath--I solemnly assure you.

Speaking of France. France has never been known to send Christian missionaries to any part of the world. The Lord destroyed New Orleans (Hurricane Katrina) because of sin in 2005; the Lord destroyed Port-au-Prince, Haiti (earthquake) because of sin in 2010. New Orleans and Haiti were both French colonies at one time. New Orleans and Haiti have always been know as centers of witchcraft.

A couple of years ago, this guy picked me up hitchhiking north of Gillette, Wyoming. He was a Christian. He met this lady from Richmond, Virginia in the 1980s or 1990s. She told him that the Lord was going to judge New Orleans and Haiti in the near future. Looks like she was right on target.

God is not mocked. Your sin shall find you out.

  2. I very much enjoy your blog! Have been reading for a while but have never posted. My thought, too, is that when you try to tell the people who are supposedly of the Church that we are in the last days and that things that are happenibng are judgments from God, they think you're nuts! So be it!

  3. I really like this post. For some reason I couldn't side with the people. Something deeper and fishy is going on. I didn't really know any scripture on it, but now I do! Thanks!

  4. Hi Kim,
Thank you for your comment, finally! This blog is really the Lord's. I let the Holy Spirit direct me and try to stay out of my flesh as much as possible, although I have had to remove stuff I had written that was all my flesh. Oops! ( :

If the out of touch church people truly Knew God and understood the fullness of his nature, (Jer 9:24) they would be on their faces crying out to Him for forgiveness and protection for what will be coming upon our nation and the world.

    God bless! Sarah

  5. Hi Joshua, I know what you mean, the whole "people's revolution" is in vain, in my opinion.
    God bless!

    Tim,
Thank you for sharing history lessons with us. If you want to understand what is happening and what is going to happen then look at history, right??

  6. I know that the Lord is the author of history. I see the hand of God in the formation and downfall of nations--especially Israel, Great Britain and the United States. You don't have to be into history to understand certain things, just go to the Lord and He will reveal to you what you need to know. History is nothing without the Lord.

  7. Yes and the Lord is the author of the future as well and when we read Isaiah 19 we see that Egypt and the entire region will be come to serve the Lord God Almighty and be blessed for it.
    Verse 23-25:
23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, [even] a blessing in the midst of the land:
25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed [be] Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

    Amen and Praise the Lord!

  8. The last thing that you posted is very encouraging. Recently, I was directed that I would be leaving the United States in the next five years. Soon after wards, the question arose as to where I would be going. After going to the Lord with it several times, He began to lead me to these scriptures:
“For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.” Acts 2:39
I immediately thought of the promised land and after pulling up a map, I discovered that a portion of it is located in Egypt. I'm also getting that "Egypt" is not confined to the national borders that we see on our maps. I believe that Egypt is symbolic of a larger area in much of the same way that Babylon is symbolic of something other than the ancient empire that was. I know the Lord will be revealing this to me in His appointed time but here is why I am thinking this...

“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.”Joel 3:14

I googled the valley of decision and the only place that showed up is also known as Rift Valley (or The Great Rift Valley) which stretches from Ethiopia down the eastern side of Africa.
I also found an article at a website named Goliath (imagine that) that tells about a plague called Rift Valley Fever. I immediately thought about the valley of the shadow of death and realized that Psalm 91 was a complete description of all of the dangers that lurk in this valley.
One of the most astounding discoveries was when I found out what the Rift Valley Fever does. "resulting in miscarriage in pregnant females and death for newborns" IT IS THE 10TH PLAGUE OF EGYPT! God gives us full instruction in Exodus 12 as what to do to be spared of this plague.
I was also led to the website named Goliath once again and found another article that was written April 3rd, 2009 stating:
"Global positioning system (GPS) monitoring has revealed that Africa's Great Rift Valley is widening, Kenyan researchers said Tuesday.

''Preliminary data has shown that there has been some minor but widening movements over the three-year-period,''"

I haven't said too much about all of this as I continue to trust God to reveal to me where I am to go and what purpose He will have for me there. However, this past Friday I was speaking to a man of God and asked Him what his thoughts were on Egypt. He said that he wasn't really following the news on it but that God had revealed to him that in the end, everything that took place with Moses and Egypt would happen again leading up to the return of the Lord.
Realizing that many of God's people are already in this valley in Ethiopia and Kenya makes all of this even more so exciting as God continues to reveal everything that He has been preparing for a very long time now.
I could have never imagined what I was in store for this year when God instructed me that this would be a year of an abundance of revelation knowledge; a dividing away from those that rebel against him and are drawn away and deceived by the lusts of their own flesh and conformity to this world.
All of the honor, glory, and praise be to our Father God, through His son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

  9. Hi Mark, Thanks for all that info! Great stuff! What an amazing thing if you do get to go to the Middle East to be a witness for Yeshua. Keep me posted!

  10. Sarah,
have been enjoying your blog for a few months now, always refreshing and very sweet-spirited... but today's post hit me as being especially insightful and "on target." i also enjoyed the comments.. some very balanced people out there in Christendom following and responding to you.. a hat-tip to you all. i admit, i haven't been following the egypt thing too much since our government got involved in it... i mean, my heart has sort of "shut down" to all things political... i feel it is out of my hands, and foreordained, and besides, i don't especially go along with the segment of Christian brothers who believe that our duty is to just "call our representatives" and make the country return to morality and reasoning. as far as i can see, it "ain't gonna happen!" in addition was the thought in my mind that egypt is "between a rock and a hard place." well, by your well thought out comments, that is exactly where they are, with one minor (?) format change: "they are between a Rock and a hard place." !! i watch as things spin out of control around us and i realize with renewed fervency and hope that He is our only source of strength, our only protection, our Provider, and we must move in closer to Him and settle in and wait for His redemption. it ever draws nigh, eh? :) anyway, kudos, and blessings.

  11. Thank you for your encouraging words, Sarah. I will certainly keep you posted. I know for a fact that God is calling me to there. I have went to Him asking why it would be that He would have shown me the things that He has. He told me that He is preparing me for things to come and is equipping me for the things that He will have me doing that lead to His return and the reigning of His kingdom here upon the earth.
Your blog has been an absolute blessing as it has been being used to confirm many things as well as has been a great place to share in the things that God has been revealing to us. I have mentioned before and will mention again that I know that God brought me to you whether I have full understanding as to why yet, or not. I know that in time His everlasting abundance will give us a full understanding of all of the things that He has been showing us.
I know that when I do go to Africa, there will be many there as well that were called to there. I am very overjoyed and thankful to the Lord for all of the wonderful things that He is doing and looking very forward to His return.
Grace and peace to all of you through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. So be it.

  12. Sarah: You may want to read this post sometime; it is from the blog Jesus, the Revolution & You:

  13. Hi Tim,
Thanks for sharing this. A great read! I really love knowing that God is in control of ALL things and the Arab spring is a perfect example of His Divine Providence. More and more I take great comfort in that fact! Even when a situation "appears" to be out of control and headed for a bad outcome, there is hope because NOTHING happens that is not ordained or allowed by our Almighty Yahweh. This is HIS Creation and He will see to it that His Word if fulfilled, every last jot and tittle!
